The quad was packed. They had set it all up near the Wingra tree; a double meaning, now. The service had already gone for over an hour, with hymns, and prayers. It couldn't have been a nicer day, with shining sun and fragrant breezes from the garden. No, it couldn't have been nicer-- unless Lycia was still alive.
"At this point," Father Bob said, gently into the microphone, "some of Lycia's closest friends have asked to say a few words."
And as the first student ascended the platform, Father Bob stepped aside.
((got the idea? go for it))
Eulogy.

Reluctantly, Francis Stood up.
"As most of you know, Jeremy Wingra appeared at the dance last night. For those of you who haven't been keeping up, his sacrifice during the Rikti invasion is the reason we planted this tree and part of the reason we're the SJS Flyers....so why am I mentioning him here? Because I don't know where Lycia is, but if she's really gone...then I know she's not all that far away. I'll always remember Lycia for being the most caffeinated goth to ever make me smile and for always letting me borrow her eyeliner when Pookie ate mine.
I've lost alot of friends lately, Sage left for home, Jasmine is missing, Lycia is gone and I'm finding myself more and more alone these days. Not that I find it all that unusual, but here at St. Joe's I was finally getting the hang of..you know...being social. Lycia was a huge help to me and maybe to many of you...

((Apparantly, one of my roomies (Lycia) is missing, presumed dead, or dead, or something... And I can't say anything because I haven't been rescued, yet...))
"In blessed memory of Sister Mercy (Sister Mary Catherine St. Claire {Dec 12, 1923 - unknown date})
Her memory lives on with St Joseph School as a testament to the good that can be done by healers at the scene of conflict."

From his perch on the roof, his presence undetected by the other students, Ezekiel watched the service... he felt like he should be with the other students, but at the same time he felt it wouldn't be appropriate. His small friend was gone and Able was responsible, which made himself responsible. The evil had follwed him to this place, it found her because of it.
Ezekiel listened carefully to what the others were saying. They took turns coming to the podium, each had something lovely to say. Ezekiel did not know how to deal with loss..it was new to him. The pain was unbearable... but he did not cry, she would not have wanted that.
"I have been idle for too long... and look at what it has cost... "
Ezzekiel turned and left... leaving behind the service and those there to mourn.
