Stasis sits in the public library, carefully reading an odd looking newspaper, one finger to the lines as her lips move. After some time she blinks and a grin splits her face. Looking over her shoulder for observers, she carefully rips out a section, blithely risking librarian wrath.
Back at school, she stands in front of a locker, writing on the scrap of newsprint before circling something. She folds it and shoves it through the slots before she can change her mind. When the locker is opened, it flutters to the feet of the boy to whom it belongs. It reads:
