Love advice from a stone hearted one

flew through the air feeling the gush of wind in my face. My mind was jumbled and I couldnt make sense of it so I did what most people did, see a friend. I pulled up so that I was right next to the building and flew to the top of the building and landed next to a hunched gargoyle looking down to the streets with his wings spead out, and his mouth gaping. "hey Bruce" I said to the statue. I grinned after what was a moment of silence and replied, "you guessed it my man." after another silence I said," no im not looknig for leads, its actually advice." The gargoyle continued to stare down into the street when I said, "Well to be specific its love trouble." after a brief moment I replied, "shut up." "You going to help me or not?" After a few noises from down below on the streets I said, "Like I said before some love advice. You see there's this girl I like and I dont think she knows. And I dont know how Im going to tell her." There was a brief pause and then I said, "If I knew that would I be here right now would I?" The statued remained in the same postition as before though I continued, "So got any ideas?" after a pause and a honk from an angry driver I said, "so what your saying is that you cant help because Im the one that likes her? and that if she does say yes that I better not let go right? and if she doesnt, just let it go and move on, correct?" There was a long pause and then I said, "Thanks Bruce, I dont know what I would have done with out you. My head was swirling with what Bruce had said, and out of the corner of my eye,I saw him shift his postion slightly.
