So there I was, middle of the night and knee deep in the best New Age literature this side of the Mason-Dixon line, sitting in my bedroom with six candles and a bronze bowl. I'm reading Curiosites' Inouies sur l'Art Talismanique des Persans and all of a sudden I get really obsessed with the electrical outlet on the far wall. I'm not talking drugged out wacky obsessed...well...ok....kind of....anyway, I get really into this wall outlet. It seems as though it's about to jump right out of the wall at me...and dang if I ever knew it....it did just that! Electricity starts flying around the room, throwing furniture around, and making all kinds of wierd noises and wouldn't you know it.....burnt the house down. Well, that was the night I discovered that I was a superhero, thanks to my studies. Oh, and my parents sent me to reform school.

So, here I am everyone! I'm Francis Cross, pretty new to the whole Catholic School thing but hey, a little knowledge goes a long way...believe me, I know.

Catch me on Infinity and we'll hook up and do some good. At least this time I won't burn the building...I've gotten better. Later!

OOC Update: ((And wow did it take me awhile to find my own damn bio...last friggin thing on this forum...anyway))

Francis has been going through many issues of her own as of late, much like the rest of the school. During her missions in Croatoa ((her former home town)) she has discovered that the Cabal, an organization that shelters her traitor mother, is again attempting to bring about destruction through a magical meld with the spirit world...she has vowed to stop this.

In other news, she feels overly stressed trying to run after her friends some days and longs to once again be the strange, caustic, goth girl who sits in the back of the classroom with her black and white striped nylons and makes creepy comments and practices black magic. In a sense she feels as though there is a storm raging around her and she forgot her umbrella again.

In many ways, Francis longs for someone to take notice of her, but once someone does she finds herself irritated and disgusted by them. Not because they are necessarily bad...she just really isn't in to "bad boys". It's the typical goth teen dichotomy, wanting attention and affection and then hating the fact that you feel so shallow....and so on.

She is focused on the Cabal at the moment, and all her energy is going there..but once it is over...she will need a new direction.

((OOC Update: Staying Current-

With the discovery that Mary Macomber was not Mary Cross, her mother, Francis has seemed to settle a bit, although still goth and mildly caustic, and still out for the Cabal. But the reason for her tangible, dare we say, happiness? Is that several rumors being tossed about have been proven true....the goth chick has a boyfriend.

Other than that Francis has changed focus slightly, looking inward to SJS itself. With her new position as head cheerleader (yes, fear me) and her newfound enjoyment in everday SJS life, Franky is going to delve into the past and secrets of SJS. Secrets are her currency...just took awhile to look past her nose to the ones floating around her.

Stay tuned for more stories and threads...I'm looking forward to yours.))
