((5 hours and 15 minutes...))
James let out a gasp as he woke up, drenched in sweat. He checked the clock that was next to his bed. "...5 in the freakin morning. Great." He said before getting up and taking a quick stretch. He gave a slight sigh as he looked at his arms and took off the bandaging. multiple small gashes rand across his arms, a steady flow of blood coming out of each gash. He gave another sigh before putting on new bandages. "Todays the day... Let's hope everything goes to plan, okay?" James said as breeze passed by him.
"Tam's probably on the plane by now, right?" He asked and another slight breeze passed by in response. "mrsh'd bre nish," He said as he brushed his teeth. He took a quick look at the hair gel before shaking his head, just letting his hair go for today. He exited the bathroom and saw a small note on the table and picked it up.
"Dear James, I got called into work early, do good work out their aight? And good luck with your surgery!-Deamon," James read outloud and thought for a moment before writing a note on the back.
"Deamon, I'll be movin out soon also, just as a heads up.-James
P.S. Lin is a shy girl, don't scare her away with any strange fetishs." He wrote and had a large grin on his face before leaving his apparment.

James took a quick breath of air as he turned on his comm. "Hello, hello. Anyone out there? Testing, one, two, ten, fourty-two... The undefined mass of the space-time continuim is 1.823532.." James said, figuring out no one is probaby up and about at 5:30 in the morning, turns off his comm and proceeds to walk down the street, wondering what to do to waste 5 hours...
((3 hours and 35 minutes..))
James had been walking for over an hour and had yet to find anything to do. "Should be 5 back at home...The only person I know that's up at that time is.." James said before taking his cellphone and puching in a few keys before holding it to his ear. James heard the ringing for a few seconds before a familiar voice filled the line.
"Please leave your name and current location so I may murder you after I get my coffee." James heard his brother say and grinned.
"Well, this is Sandy from the library calling about an over due book, it's called "Wake up Dork," Do you recognize this title?" James asked.
"...Wait.. DUDE!" James heard and couldn't help but chuckle. "James, how've you been bro?"
"Same old song and dance bro..." James said to his brother Jason.
"What's with the mornin call? Usually you won't wake up until 7, even during school!" Jason said chuckling.
"Just needed someone to chat with, have something coming up and I need someone to calm me down a bit.." James said.
"Ooh? Something big eh? Are we talkin a date? You sly dog you." Jason said with a slight snicker from his end.
"Kinda like that." James said with a smirk.
"Alright, just don't break her, or him, I dunno, your preference still screws me up occasionally." Jason said as James her a slight tapping on the other line.
"How's the 'rents?" James asked.
"Their alright, probably forgot about you, but seriously man, mom freaked when you left the fake rubber mouse in her drawer." Jason said, trying everything he could not to chuckle at the memory.
"Hmm.. I thought as much. Alright, I should be heading out, you still coming down next month?"
"Not even hell and high waters could stop me from seeing who my lil bro hangs out with." Jason said with a smug tone.
"Just.. leave the swords at home, your deadly with those damn things." James said with a slight shudder. "Catch ya later.." He said hanging up. "If I live til later." James said as he looked at city hall.
((2 hours and 50 minutes..))
James sighed as he sat in his favorite part of Paragon, the old ampitheater in Perez. Voices seemed to fill the air around him as he listened, the trees, the plants, the very air around him was a buzz with noise, and yet only he really heard. A breeze seemed to revolve around him as his eyes closed. "...I commend my spirit to you, and my soul to thine carresing arms." James said under his breath, a prayer which he had made for the wind. A quick breeze gave him a smack on the head and he rubbed his head.
"Oww, jeeze, you didn't have to hit me, I'm only making preperations just in case." James said. An angry wind passed by him and he shuddered. "I can't decide my fate, but we can help it along at least. You already know what said precedure is like, so we may know where to stop.." James said and the wind seemed to pass around him and he held his and seemed to be putting it on something just infront of him. "I promised I wouldn't die.." James said before the invisible arm disappeared and he left his place and gave a slight bow to it, almost as if saying goodbye before leaving...
((42 minutes...))
James gave out a long sigh as he stood ontop of the tallest building in Atlas, "The last thing I really want to do." James said as he couldn't help but grin as he looked down at the side walk. "Quite a drop, if we're not careful I'll go splat!" He said chuckling before standing on the edge. "Let's fly." He said before turning around and jumping off. He felt the wind push against him and his hair swing widly with the wind as he fell. The side walk came up to him at amazing speeds for he just suddenly stopped in mid air. People were staring at him wide eyed, mouths hanging wide open as they stared at the white haired boy that just fell from the sky. James spun around and stood on his feet as the wind let him land lightly on the side walk. "Annnd that's all the team we have.." James said as he looked at his cell phone. The time was 10:03...
((37 minutes..))
James stood in the door way to GIFT. He was immediatly greeted by Antonio Nash. "I'm here for my appointment." James said with a sigh.
"Your surgery doesn't start until 10:45 James, unless you really want to get it over with, you might as we-" "I'm doing it now." James said cutting him off, a twinge of annoyance in his voice. Antonio nodded. A few specialists in genetic mutations came in, and direct James to the proper surgery room. James closed his eyes... and everything from there was blank, only a few voices slipped through his sleep.
"These cells are deep...."
"A seed.."
"What!?"
"Stop the surgery!..."
"What's going on, the air.."
"We're losing him...."
"...."

"...Wake up..."
"...James... Wake up.."
"WAKE UP!" James heard a female voice yell directly into his ear and his eyes opened up. He rubbed his ear as he and groaned as he felt a sharp pain on his chest.
"Well, look who's awake." James heard and looked at the doctor that had just walked into the room.
"Nng... Where am I?" James asked as he felt a little dazed.
"The hospital after you got sliced open." James heard the female voice again.
"Not very good bed side manner huh?" James asked.
"..I didn't say anything yet," the doctor said as he raised an eye brow.
"Wait but.." James said before realizing what that voice was and his eyes widened for a bit.
"Are you sure your feeling okay?" The doctor asked.
"Yeah, I'm good." James said.
"Alright... Let's see here, you've been out for about three days now. They cut you open and cleaned out most of your system, though they did find something strange... some sort of seed, but the moment they tried to remove it, the surgery had to be stopped as your vital signs were fading and the.." The doctor raises an eye, "The air started moving around and knocking things over and making sure the surgery had to be stopped." He said.
"Not my fault at all.." James heard and couldn't help but chuckle for a bit.
"Now then, I'd like to talk abou-" He began before the sounds of a fight were heard down the hall.
"Out of my way I'm gettin to my little brother and that's that!!" A male's voice was heard.
"Sir, we can't alow you to see him, we please ask... OH MY!" A nurse was heard yelling. "Please put down the weapons!!" She yelled.
"....Oh dear winds he brought the swords." James said with a face palm as a man stood at the door way, he looked to be around his lower twenties. His hair was long and a dirty blond, it was tied back into a pony tail.
He grinned at James, "Good to see your alive snow head."
"I swear you call me snow head one more time I will push this little red button that calls the security guards." James said with a smirk.
"Sir, it is too early for this boy to see any visitors." He said.
"Oh I think he'll be fine, not like I'm here to take advantage of him while he's drugged up." James' brother said with a smirk, "Besides, he looks just fine." He said.
"Atleast let me take the swords... Your not supposed to carry weapons in a hospital anyways!" the doctor yelled. James' brother gave a sigh as he handed over the two wakizashi's that he had brought with him. The doctor left the room slightly annoyed.
"...Okay, so I thought you were coming later, like, next month later." James said.
"I was... maybe... okay, not completely but at the same time I might have made the ticket purchase but it may or may not have been for an earlier time than I previously stated, but in which case, you may have heard compl-"
"Okay, no, not now, your mental games are making my head hurt." James said cutting off his older brother, "But seriously, WHY did you bring the swords?" James asked.
"What didn't you tell me you were having a surgery." James' brother said as he frowned and crossed his arms.
"Err..." James said. "Look Jason, it's like thi-"
"James, you suck at lying you know that right?" Jason asked. He sighed before giving his little brother a quick hug. "Listen, I don't think they'll allow me to stay here for much longer, but I expect a FULL explanation later." He said.
James grinned. "I'll completely explain soon as I know exactly what's up." He said.
Jason grinned at James before leaving the room.
"You can't hide him from me forever..." Hissed into his mind.
"My entire family here's voices now.. great." Jason said as he left the hospital.
"...James... Wake up.."

Re: Final day to a new beginning...
James smiled as he walked down the streets of Talos Island. To him, this was the best day he's had in a long time. Taking down Romans, Throwing a toga party afterwards, that was the most enjoyment he's had for a long time.
"You seem happy." James heard the familiar female voice that trailed around with him all the time.
"How could I NOT be happy?" James asked with a grin.
"I dunno, maybe something will randomly blow up in your face when you get back to your dorm? I mean, I don't trust that TV." James heard and he couldn't help but to chuckle. In his laughter, he had just barely missed that something.. didn't seem right. The streets were completely empty. It was late now, but still, at least gang members were expected to be out prowling.
"Well this is slightly odd.." James said looking around, not a person within eye shot. Suddenly a sharp pain shot through his chest as something seemed to quiver within. James immediatly grabbed his heart as he felt the pain increase for a moment before it started to die down. "W-what the hell was that?" James asked himself as he tried to catch his breath for a moment.
"James, Incoming!" James heard before he jumped back. A ball of dark energy had struck the ground where he stood.
"Who's there?" James yelled into the night as he looked around. "Keep an eye out for me." He said under his breath.
"Well well... I never thought you would have been able to dodge that." James heard before an insane cackle seemed to fill the air about him. A tall figure landed in front of him and walked into the light that was given off by the street lights. His hair was pitch black and went down to his shoulders. His eyes were a dark purple and he had a twisted grin as he looked over James.
"Should I ask your name? Or are you too insane to give me a response?" James asked slightly annoyed, this was a good day for him, he didn't need insane dark energy throwing people to ruin it for him.
"No.. You need not ask for my name... I only want you to die!" He yelled as the similar dark coloured energy surrounded him.
"Great, looks like we got a fight on our hands! Wind, let's go!" James said as he felt the familiar feeling of another entity entering his own body. A light vapor surrounded his body as the air seemed to condense. "Good thing we practiced earlier." James said with a grin.
"Keep your focus on the world around you and we will succeed." James heard reasonate through his head. He gave a nod as the air began to move rapidly around him. He quickly unbuttoned his cargo pockets and grabbed out a large handful of seeds and spread them about.
"Are you done yet?" The man asked with another insane grin. "Cause I'm ready to eat cha all up." He said and James raised an eye brow as he brought his goggles over his eyes.
"Your going to wish I wasn't." James said as the air continued moving faster. "Everyone, grant me your strenght!" James yelled as the seeds began shivering before bursting from their shells and becoming full grown vines that covered the ground. A large storm cloud formed above him as his vines rushed forward to grab his enemy.
"Weak." He said as he snapped his fingers and the dark energy collected into his finger tips before he unleashed them upon the vines, keeping them a safe distance away from him. The man grinned and brought his hand back and allowed the energy to collect. "Good by-"
"Nibbles! Dinner time!" James yelled and a loud "CHOMP" was heard. The man looked back and saw the large fly trap latched onto his hand.
"...Oh, that's just foul." He said before quickly lifting up Nibbles and throwing her aside. "My patients runs dry boy, so hurry up and die!" He yelled as he channeled more energy into his palms.
"Oxygen." James said as a large ball of compressed oxygen formed in front of him. "Let's make a spark and hope to the winds it works." James said as he pulled up his sleeve allowing an iron bracer to gleam in the light. He quickly reached into his pocket and pulled out two rings made of flint that he had made and put them on his finger tips before bringing them to his bracer. "Burn baby burn!" James yelled as he struck the bracer and the sparks jumped into the large ball of oxygen. The air itself seemed to guide the flare towards James' opponent.
"..Oh Hell-" He said before the fire struck him, seemingly reducing him to ashes.. or so James hoped.
"Quick work." James said with a smirk before the tapping of shoes was heard behind him. He quickly turned around in time to hold up his arm to block a bolt of dark energy. The cloth of his coat was quickly ripped off by the energy and his felt the metal crack.
"Tch." The man said as he stood on top of the street lamp. "It seems my information was a bit off, never knew you could create fire." He said before giving James a cold glare. "I'll be back to finish you off one of these days wind boy. Just keep your eyes peeled, I'll be where you never expect me to be." He said with a grin before the shadows seemed to envelope him and he vanished.
"What the hell was that?" James asked as he lifted up his goggles. His eyes a light gray and he looked down at his arm. The metal bracer had been shattered and he had cuts all over his arm, "Lucky that's all." James said before he felt the similar entity that had entered him leave.
"Any clue what to do?" James heard and he waved it off.
"First off deal with these wounds and figure things out.." James said before looking at his sleeve again. "Dammit, I have the worst luck with my arms, don't I?" James asked sighing before giving a quick whistle to his fly trap and quickly returning to the dorms. He was going to figure out who that was, eventually.
"You seem happy." James heard the familiar female voice that trailed around with him all the time.
"How could I NOT be happy?" James asked with a grin.

Re: Final day to a new beginning...
James gave a sigh and a stretch as classes had finished for the day. He was glad for the weekend, that meant procrasination on homework and hanging out with his friends. "Hmm, what to do today." James asked himself as he walked past Prometheus Park.
"You could try to hang out with that Del girl, you two seem to have a thing goin' on there." James heard from the wind and he couldn't help but blush.
"H-Hey! What did I say! No messin' with my personal life!" He said slightly flustered.
"Oh come on, she's so your type." James heard again and his face began to turn beat red. "I thought so~" Came from the wind.
"Oh come off it!" James yelled as he heard laughter.
"Someones energetic." James heard and immediatly looked behind him and saw a familiar face.
"Oh great, it's the sword swinging maniac, let's all hid ourselves while he threatens a nurse." James said with a grin at his brother. Jason let off a laugh.
"Oh please, I didn't threaten her, I just politely asked her to move while I swung around a small weapon." He said with a satisfied nod. James chuckled.
"Suure, before ya got tossed outta the hospital." He said with a grin.
"Oh please, not like YOU haven't done anythin' bad yourself, do I need to mention the cart racin' we did while you were at "Happy fun camp?"" Jason asked James and grinned.
"Ah yes, those were the days, watchin' men in white coats run after us as we sped down the halls. Syringes and crazy people flyin' through the air as we closed up to the finish line." James said before laughing again.
"Obviously ya haven't lost that sense of insanity since I last saw ya." Jason said with a grin.
"Me, insane? Why, I don't know WHAT your talkin' 'bout." Jame said faking innocence and putting his hand to his head. "Why, I feel like I've been fasely accused, dear lord help me!" James said as he fluttered his eyes and caused his brother to break out into laughter.
"Nope, insane, your definatly insane." Jason said as he continued laughing.
"And ya expected less?" James asked with a smirk.
"Hmm, that's a really good point, I mean, this is my brother I'm talkin' 'bout..." Jason said and James gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.
"Smart Ass." James said with a smirk.
"Ya know, you might want to get a coat or somethin', those scars might scare people off, or, ya know, they might think your a cutter." Jason said with a smirk.
"Ha ha ha. Very freakin' funny." James said rolling his eyes.
"Oh you know he has a point." James heard and he waved at the air above him.
"Stop takin' his side!" James said and his brother laughed.
"Ah, so I even have the wind on my side do I?" He asked.
"Shut it." James said. They continued walking down the road and joking with each other, allowing themselves time to be with each other before the inevitable storm came that neither of them would expect.

Re: Final day to a new beginning...
James stumbled through the alley way. He held his hand to his heart and gripped as he felt another sharp thrust of pain move through his heart.
"Dammit.." James said as he felt another shot of pain. His face tensed up as he winced again.
"James, I know this is not the best time, but-" James heard the wind start before he held out his hand.
"I know, he's coming again." James said as the pain started to subside.
"Awww, got rid of your little kheldian friend?" The black haired man said with a grin as he walked out of the shadows of the alley way. "I was hoping to get rid of him also." He said with a crazed grin.
"Tch." James said, for some reason, he felt agitated with this man around. Something in the back of his mind kept telling him. "Attack... Attack... Attack..."
"Why are you after me?!" James yelled,
"Because your interesting..." The man said with a smile.
"What?" James asked.
"You see, I need a body to live, now, don't think that I find your interestin', but the fact is, this body has a little too much resistance, if ya know what I mean." The man said with a grin.
"And what does that have to do with me?" James asked, the voices in the back of his head began to become louder.
"Well, maybe you'll just have to find out." He said as his crazed grin returned, his purple eyes starting to glow slightly.
"How about you answer me?!" James yelled as he held out his hand. "Wind, fight along side me!" James yelled and he felt the wind becoming one with him. A strong blast of wind shot his opponent down the alley. The man grinned as he landed on his feet and looked at the agitated James.
"My my, that's a face I have yet to see." He said as he looked at James' face.
"Shut up." James said as the voices began to yell in his head. He held his hand up to his goggles and put them over his eyes before he flipped open a special comparment. A black coloured mist seeped out from the comparment and surrounded his wrists. They solidified and turned into his iron guantlets.
"My my, isn't this interestin'? I never knew there was such a complicated system in Icon." He said.
"Just burn." James said as he slid his fingers across the gauntlet. A large flare of fire shot down the straight alley way. The man held up his hand before a bubble of darkness surrounded him, making the flames pass around him.
"Is that all?" He asked dropping the shield. "Cause I'd like you to die soon." He said with a grin before firing two blasts of dark energy at James. James made a quick sidestep and avoided the first one but was clipped by the second one, he held his side as he felt the blood flow slowly. The blast didn't do as much damage as the man probably hoped for, but it still did a pretty good job.
The voices came in at a full scream in James' head before he stopped moving and looked down at the ground. His movements completely stopped, but strangly, so did the wind that had been passing down the alley way. "Huh, are we accepting our deaths?" the man asked walking towards James. Suddenly the wind began to pick up around James. "What th-" The man said before roots shot out of the ground and wrapped around his body. He began to struggle as James stood up.
"Feed us..." James said as he looked directly at the man. His eyes were blank and had turned completely grey. "Feed us..." He said again.
"What the hell?" The man said in great confusion.
"Feed us, your energy." James said as he walked towards the man. The wind surrounded his arm as he held his fingers to his bracer.
"Oh shit!" The man yelled as he struggled to get loose.
"Feed us.." James said over and over again. Suddenly the man stopped moving before darkness surrounded him.
"Get away from me you BLOODY FREAK!" He yelled as a large explosion of dark energy shot around him, freeing him and launching James into a wall. The man breathed heavily for a moment before taking a step back and running away.
-15 minutes later.-
James opened his eyes and blinked for a second before looking around. It was still night, he was still in the alley, but where was that man. "Nng.." James said as he looked at his side. The bleeding had stopped but he was going to need a new shirt. He gave a sigh before standing up. "What happened?" James asked looking to the sky. The voices and the pain had stopped, for now.

Re: Final day to a new beginning...
James let out a long yawn as he stretched, Perez Park always seemed to be the place that he would go just to relax and mellow out, it's been a while since he last did so. He adjusted his headphones as he looked into the sky, the violin and piano that played seemed to be keeping him slightly more relaxed.
"I'm amazed that you still come here when you have a problem, though I guess that's just you." James heard whispered among the wind and he leaned back a bit.
"That's just how I am." He said answering to no one in particular. He knew where it had come from and was well used to it by now. He rubbed his eyes before watching the sky again, the clouds lazily passing by.
"So, what's on your mind now?" James heard the wind ask and sighed.
"Ya should know." He said quietly.
"Yes, I do, so how are you going to deal with it?" The wind asked, the past few weeks began playing in James' mind, the attacks, homecoming...
"Well, not much I can do, not like I can walk up to him and say 'Hey, Brad, buddy, I know we're both guys, but I like ya, and not in the we're just friends way...'" James said rolling his eyes. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed...
It was starting to get long again.
"O...kay... that wasn't what I was going to talk about, but elaborate on that, shall we?" The female voice said.
"Nrg, let's not and say we did," James said covering an eye with his hand.
"Sinner..." James heard in his head and he sighed as he put a hand to his headphones and increased the volume. He opened his eye slightly, a tint of red showing in his eyes before he blinked.
"And if that wasn't worse enough, I'm gettin' voices in my head again." James said to himself, sighing.
"Excuse me!" James heard and looked over, a dirty blond haired man walked into the light and smiled lightly at James. He wore a black jacket and cargos, glasses, and had a slight goatee. James raised and eye brow and he sat up a bit. "I'm sorry, but may I ask you to get away from here soon?" He asked as a girl walked up behind him. She had the same colour hair, and it was long and kept in a pony-tail.
"And may I ask who you are?" James asked as he stood up. "Or more importantly why?"
"Well, you see, we planned on having a party here, and don't want too many people around because it's a private thing!" He said with a laugh. James raised an eye brow.
"What kind of insane lie is that?" The wind asked and James shrugged.
"Look, if yo-" James said before he felt a quiver in his heart and put his hand over it. "Oh great, not now." James said with slight annoyance.
"Trin, look sharp." The man said as he reached into her backpack and pulled out a large iron broadsword.
"Well, what do we have here? A spiritualist and his pet daughter, oh, and you again? My, how this day gets better and better by the moment." The black haired assailant of James said as he walked into the light.
"You again, of all days." James said looking back at the man.
"Sinner... Attack...Remove..." James heard again before standing up.
"I'm going to ask once more, who are y-" James said before he was cut off by the man.
"Spirit of fear, I see through your trickery, reveal yourself, Phobos." The blond haired man said with a smirk. The black haired man frowned slightly.
"I see, an intelligent one at that." Phobos said sighing as he raised his hands. "I see, you caught me." He said with a sigh before a crazed grin flashed. "What do you plan on doing?" He asked.
"Wait, spirit, Phobos, Spiritualist.... I feel I missed something very important." James said as he tilted his head slightly.
"Now I remember where that voice sounds familiar from, James, this guy is a major spiritualist, that must be his daughter next to him, I think his name is Aaron..." James heard before nodding.
"Alright Phobos, time to get on your way and out of that body." Aaron said aiming his sword at Phobos.
Phobos merely grinned. "My my, it seems the prey don't know their place... I believe it's time to show them where they sta-" He started before his eyes widened as a snap was heard, followed by a ball of fire whizzing by his head. The flames were doused by removal of oxygen before they burned any of the trees.
"Who's place is bein' shown?" James asked with a smug smirk. "Let's fight togethe', he can't take us both on at the same time, right?" James asked Aaron, looking his way for a moment before looking back at Phobos. Aaron looked bewildered at James for a moment before smirking and nodding.
"Right, Trin, move back." He said, the girl nodded before moving back into the forest.
"Well, things are getting interesting, in that case, little rabbits, how shall I deal with you today? Hmm?" Phobos asked with a smug smirk.
"I'm gunna rub that smirk off his face." James said before closing his eyes. "Wind, guide me with your strength." James recited before feeling another presence enter his body.
"If we work together... there is nothing that stands in our way." James heard before opening his eyes, which had turned a light grey. The air seemed to snake around him before he sent a large gust of wind shooting forward. Phobos quickly jumped into the air to avoid the gust. James smirked before moving his hands and forming a box in front of him.
"Target, and drop!" James thought before making a swinging motion toward the ground, a large gust of wind shot Phobos to the ground. He gritted his teeth before moving to the side as roots shot up from the ground where he layed.
"My my, someone's getting a bit better, practicing in your free time?" Phobos asked ask he raised an eye brow, a grin still on his face. James raised an eye brow.
"Worry 'bout ya self." James said, Phobos only took one second to look behind him before leaping into the air, Aaron's sword whizzing through the air, leaving a slight trail of light as he did so.
"Tch, fast little bugger." He said with a smirk as Phobos landed in the trees.
"Not very smart though." James said before letting out a whistle. Suddenly more branches grew out of the tree Phobos stood upon, causing him to jump up into the air. James held out his hands again before his eyes widened and he sidestepped quickly as a blast of dark energy shot to the ground. Phobos had a crazed grin on his face as he appeared behind James.
"Game over!" He yelled with a crazed grin as he grabbed James arm. James' eyes widened, suddenly, he felt as though everything slowed down.
"ThinkThinkThinkThinkThink!" James yelled in his head. "THINK!" He yelled as Phobos' other hand began to charge with dark energy. James closed his eyes and began to think, faster than he ever did before as voices filled his head.
"Sinner... Vile touch..."
"James, your not like me, your abilities lie not in your use of force, but your intelligence, feel things out, your wind is strong.." James' eyes shot open as the wind quickly swirled around him.
"Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, less oxygen, air temperature, low." Ran through James mind as layers upon layers of air rose around him, staying close to him as Phobos' hand moved. "LIGHT!" James yelled before snapping his fingers, flames shot up around him. Phobos moved his hand back before quickly jumping back. James spun around towards Phobos, his eyes still wide as the flames extinguished. Phobos landed in front of the amphitheater's wall and smashed his hand into it before lifting himself up and above it, dodging another blast of wind that left small cuts in the wall.
"What's this? I thought playing with fire didn't go as planned with kids, this city is full of suprises." Phobos said with a grin. Aaron ran forward and jumped up towards Phobos, his blade held up above his head. "Now now, rushing will get you nowhere." Phobos said before unleashing the dark energy stored in his hand. Aaron's eyes widened before he moved his sword to block, the energy broke through the blade and tore a large gash into his shoulder, missing his vital organs.
James took a heavy breath as he looked at Phobos again. "Sinner... remove... destroy... Not belong.." James heard and bit the corner of his mouth.
"What's wrong you two, you fight like your dieing!" Phobos yelled with his insane grin. "Feeling a little uneasy?" He asked with a smug smirk before holding out his hand. "Perhaps I should let you rest a bit." He said grinning as his hand glowed with dark energy. Suddenly his eyes widened before he dropped his hand. "What? Not yet... I thought I had more time!" He yelled before putting a hand over his right eye. They gradually jumped between purple and green before he let out a yell.
"James! Get those two out of here, now!" Phobos yelled... but not in his voice. James' eyes immediatly widened as his mouth suddenly opened slightly.
"B-bro?" James let out before Aaron winced and rushed towards James, Trin immediatly ran over.
"Your wound?" She asked her father.
"Nothing too serious, but I believe this is our time to call it over with, don't you?" He asked before taking blood from his wound and drawing in the air. Immediatly they found themselves in a small room, 3 doors lined the walls to their left, right, and behind them. Infront was a small alter that Aaron walked towards and kneeled infront of. "Sorry guys, I kinda broke it again." He said before laying the hilt of his sword on the alter before standing up.
James was still in a daze as he tryed to process what just happened. "What... Was... That... My... He..." James let out barely audible before he felt the other prescnese that was the wind leave his body.
"Trin, I need you to grab some water and bandages." Aaron said standing up and checking his wound.
"Gotcha." Trin said leaving the room. She quickly brushed past James.
"Alright then." Aaron said nodding. "We know exactly what needs to be done now." He said. James shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but what the hell happened there?!" James yelled, "That guy, he sounded exactly like my brother! What-" James began to yell before Aaron rushed over to him and covered his mouth.
"I'm going to say this very clearly and quickly, that man was not who you thought him to be, and may well never be again. Wether he was your brother, your cousin, or whatever, he may no longer be that man ever again." Aaron said, dropping his calmness for but a second. "Now, there may be a way to save him, there may not be, but for now, I'm giving you this to go on, now I suggest you get out." Aaron said before he walked past James and opened the door to a normal looking apartment and pointed to the door. "You can get out from there, I will contact you when we find a way to get your brother back, bu for now, leave." He said and James just stood there for a moment. He couldn't say anything, he was having hard enough time processing what just happened today. He merely looked down at the ground before rushing past Aaron and Trin and opening the door before slamming it shut and walking down the side walk. He glared at the ground as he tried to figure out what just happened.
"I'm amazed that you still come here when you have a problem, though I guess that's just you." James heard whispered among the wind and he leaned back a bit.
