He felt the shockwave before he heard it...in the form of a clod of dirt that couldn't have impacted his head more expertly short of on-board guidance programming.
He saw all he needed to see; Ubermensch and the Zebra versus the Mod Squad.
Finally, someone other than himself had earned Biff's ire...which fortunately meant he could now travel around the school more freely. On the other hand, powers during school hours were a no-no, and using powers on each other was, if he recalled, strictly prohibited. Somebody could get seriously hurt.
Mis did the only thing he could do...a quick leap carried him over a few structures and confused students, to the Faculty building. He hoped someone was there to listen to his warning.

((I love you, Mis. I have just fallen in love with you. Thank you.
Jaygo?? Buddy? REBAR? What?
Novembre, my sweet bell. Nope, never cool, I think. Just aloof. And blond, too-- yuck, huh?
/shakes her head and lets the chest-beating continue
Okay, I shall let the boys handle this. And I'll just edit their posts!
/cackles and cuddles her web-damey hat))

"What the heck is this about?" protested Tolliver at the sudden appearance of yet another party crasher. "Is there some kinda Loser convention that nobody warned me about?" He glared at Jaygo and Crucibus, behind them he saw Francis leaving. "Hey! Rainbow Bright!!! You aint heard the last of this!!!" he shouted after her.
It was only a matter of moments before the faculty arrived.
"Yo Biff, let's blow this scene! We'll let Jerko and this dweeb have their alone time. 'Sides...I think I've earned enough detention for one day."
"Good call, man." answered the larger boy. "See ya around J-jo!" Biff feigned a punch at Jaygo as he walked by, just to see if he'd flinch. The two thugs plodded across the grounds, they cold be heard laughing as they rounded the cornor and disappeared from sight.
((....lol....I love you guys, really I do. But I guess I should have made a note at the begining that this was supposed to be a thread for Francis and I. Oh, well...live and learn. Good fun though!!))

(( I understand now, it was your story.. really need to let other people know. Franky is much loved around the school and will have no short supply of people to help her out.
and Mimi. Biff would definatly be taken down by rebar. because the threat of getting it jabbed into his eye is a nasty one. ))

Tolliver paced back and forth in the hall... he was sick of waiting. He would teach that magic-using freak a lesson she wouldn't soon forget. He had follwed her for two days straight... he knew she got her spells from those books she was always luggin' around. Yeah... he'd see how tough she was without 'em. If she would just leave her darn room...
Later rather than sooner, Francis left her quad. Tolliver ducked out of sight around the cornor and waited for her to pass. Once he was sure no one else was around, he crept to the door and listened. After a moment, when he was sure that nobody else was in, he acted. Subtlety was not he speciallity... a small feat of strength was all it took to open the locked door.
Tolliver looked about, he was pretty sure nobody had heard the noise. Once he was possitive he entered the darkend room...

The room was dark and smelled of incense and pages that had met with too much moisture. Dust hung in the air as though a censer had been carried through the small confines and clouded the walls in perfumed smoke. Tolliver glanced about the dorm hoping that one of the multitudes of books piled haphazardly around the room would catch his eye. He wanted something good, something expensive…or at least something valuable. He spied a large leather tome resting precariously on a pile set on a far book shelf, its binding shimmering with gold leaf in the pale light. He balanced on the computer desk chair as he carefully reached to pull the book free, hopefully without him crashing to the floor along with the rest of the mess. How could one girl create such a disaster?
Tolliver smiled as the hefty volume slid free and smiled even wider as he imagined how he would taunt the pink-haired goth girl with its disappearance.
A dark, dry, rattling voice whispered out from the darkness and rose up in a hissing crescendo, “Helloooo….booooy….”
“I’ve beeeeeen waaaitinnng….*rattle*….foooorrr…*gurgle*….sooommmeone liiike youuuu…......fooooor a looong tiiiime”

Startled, Tolliver tumbled backwards off the chair. He landed hard, crashing into one of the many piles of books. He lept to his feet and scanned the room for any sign of who spoke, but the room was empty...
"Who's there! Show yourself and ya might get off with only one broken limb."
"such.... anger....i can....*gurgle*...feel your rage..." hissed the unseen intruder.
Tolliver spun about in the direction from where the voice had sounded. There was nobody.
....you....beloooooong....withhhhh....ussssssss...
Tolliver stepped back in terror as he realized where the voice was coming from. There on the desk sat a large plant and it was speaking.... This was no normal plant mind you, it's mushroom shaped body sat in the center of a mass of vines that hung freely from its large pot, dangling from the desk to the floor. The top of the mushroom seemed to have tendrills hanging limply from the underside of its cap...which began to move.
It raised itself and turned to face Tolliver, it made a strange sucking sound as it spoke. "...you...should take meeeee....away from herrrrrre....you could....join....ussssssss.....booooooy......". The vines hanging from the desk seemed to reach out to him, moving on there own.
Tolliver had seen enough, he did what anyone would do in this situation. He let out a loud earpiercing scream and ran. He ran as fast as his short legs could carry him. He didn't stop until he was on the otherside of campus. That's when something terrible occured to him, Tolliver realized that he was still clutching the book. That meant he would have to see that girl again....and what if she fed him to her plant! Tolliver ran to his room to hide the book until he could figure out what to do.

Francis rubbed her eyes as she sat slouched over a book in one of Sister Salvation's many library carousels. It was nearly midnight and about time for a double mochachino, not time for The History of Chinese Political Systems. She got up, shutting the book, and wandered from the darkened library. Ever since the incident with the vines in the chapel Sister Salvation never had any complaints about Francis in the library after "closing time" and it was nice to have a place to be alone every now and again.
As she sleepily walked back to her dorm room, books in tow, she remembered to slip in quietly lest she wake Thunder Cricket. That girl could hear a pin drop in the infirmary next week. She eased her door shut and settled into her computer chair.
The room looked odd. A stack of books that once adorned the far wall now lay in a pile at the foot of the bed and the potted vine she had returned to the school with from her last mission in Croatoa was tipped over. She cautiously reached out and righted it, "There ya go, little guy."
The mushroom shaped head bobbed slightly but the plant seemed otherwise unhurt. Francis pondered it. She had taken it back after it was left behind by some of those aweful Devouring Earth creatures. It was good to have it to study...but where was this uneasy feeling coming from.
She looked around the room. It had defintely been disturbed....her eyes grew wide...'Someone's been in my room!!'
