((OOC: This was inspired by Jubilation's Sessions series. Since Gabe has some issues to work through (as if most teens don't!), this is a perfect place for me to put down some info on the character, as he developes. That way I don't have to keep going back and edit my information...))
Gabriel sat down in the office. He knew Dr. Conrads had some more heavy material for them to burn through. He really hated these visits. They made him open up in a way he didn't like. He knew he was damaged goods, so why did they insist on pointing it out to him?
"Hello, Gabriel," Conrads smiled and nodded. "I see you're doing better than yesterday. Our talk gave us some things to work on, and I was wondering if you minded going over those things with me."
"I suppose, Doc," Gabe nodded. "I just have this one question, okay? Can we not cover something if I'm not seriously up to it, dude?"
"Sure, Gabe," the doctor smiled. "Whatever works for now. Though, sooner or later, we will have to get back to the hard stuff. Okay?"
"Sure, Doc. Thanks."

"So, it says here that you have no preference under gender... Is this just some sort of joke, or is it something more central to who you are," Conrads asked.
"Well," Gabriel turned a little pinkish. "I, uhmm... I like attractive people, you know. I might see a beautiful girl, like Kali or November, or I might see a guy who really wows me, like Sage or Time. I like to look."
"So, you would characterize yourself as bi-sexual, Gabriel?"
"Not at all, Doc. I think of it as, like, trying to buy transportation, and not knowing if I want a plane or a car. You know?"
"So, you're undecided, then?"
"Something like that, man. I know I can't touch, so... You know, I just.."
"Fantasize?"
"Yeah," the albino laughed. "That, too!"
"Alright," Dr. Conrads nodded and wrote. "Let's get on to other questions, shall we?"

"I see here that you have three names," Conrads continued. "Can you tell me about that?"
"Oh, yeah," Gabriel nodded. "I was originally SS-12749 Alpha. The fine doctors at DARPA named me that. But, the Army needed something easier, so they named me Crucibus."
"I see. And Gabriel Sparks? Did you come up with that?"
"Gah! No way! That was Longbow's idea. They wanted me to seem more human, so they wouldn't feel guilty, I guess."
"So, you feel the government and Hero Corps didn't have your best interests at heart?"
"Oh! I never said that, dude. I'm a weapon, and both DARPA and the Army understood that. I just think that Longbow lacks the mentality for that sort of thing. Too new in the business, you know."
"So, you're okay with being a weapon? You could just walk up to anybody on the street and end their life, if ordered to?"
"Not really. They have to be a combatant. Something in me senses when I'm threatened, and tells me to fight. If I hurt an innocent person... Dude! That would make me want to just... Die or something."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah... I think so."

"...So, tell me what you think about Paragon City. Tell me what you feel when you look around at the normal people," Conrads asked.
"Well, Doc," Gabe started, as he stared outside. "I see the children, and I'm reminded I didn't have that. I see the people being pushed around by thugs, and I see oportunities for me to end suffering. I see people walking in the park, holding hands, and I remember I want to be like that. It makes me smile, and feel strange inside. You know?"
"Well, why don't you tell me about that, so I know if we're talking about the same strangeness, okay?"
"Okay! It's a wierd electric feeling. It's a cramp in my stomache, a pain in my chest, heat in my cheeks and a feeling of empowerment. All at once."
"Yeah," he nodded. "I know that feeling. Good job, Gabriel!"
"Really? Why do you say that, Doc?"
"Remember you told me you wanted to be human?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, Gabriel. That's an important first step. Before you know it, I'm going to be closing this notebook, and we'll be talking about really boring stuff."
"Like why we cross the left string over the right one when we lace our shoes?"
Dr Conrads laughed. "Yes, Gabriel. Questions like that."
