Wow. Where to begin. Let's see, first off, for the record, I'm writing this journal thanks to the stuff I saw happen last night. My first Friday at St. Joe's, and I not only see a kid burst into flames as I enter the room, only to be perfectly fine after, but also a techno-medical genius fix up a five ton kid's ribs and organs. Who knows? Maybe I can come back to this for help one day. One thing's for sure, though. I can already tell, my stay at this place is going to be interesting, and I'm now only more convinced that it can help me achieve my goal.
Guess I should explain a bit on those two points. For the first one, this one kid, Jacob, suddenly bursts into flames when I walk in the room. Naturally, I'm dumbfounded, but thankfully somebody actually came that knew what they were doing.
Turns out that it was his power all along. Freaky, eh? Well, I thought so, anyway.
So then he leaves, and Will and Ayima and I hang out and talk for a little bit, when yet another student, Malcolm, I think, comes in, groaning and holding his side. Will scanned him and revealed that he was banged up pretty badly, so what does he do? He pushes all five of his tons over to the Auto-Doc and patches him up.
I wasn't even aware that I could feel the pain of others until that thing was turned on. Seriously, I guess the term 'felt to the core of your being' really applies here. Somebody should use laughing gas or something before putting someone under there.
Anyway, Malcolm turned out alright, everyone went about their business. Ayima, Will, and I started talking again. Turns out I'm not so unique after all; Ayima was apparently captured by those robed freaks too, at one point. Guess the Circle make it a regular practice to screw with the souls of other people.
But, aside from the excitement... No, wait, because of the excitement, I know I'm going to like this place. The people are friendly and helpful. (Well, those that I've met.) I know it can help me.
Anyway, signing off, I guess.
((Due to the events seen last night, Dusan has decided to just keep a personal record of everything that happens to him at St. Joe's, if for nothing else than just so he can skim back through it and see what has exactly happened over the course of his stay.))

Last night was actually pretty fun. Aside from getting completely drenched in one of the Lost's hide outs (Just a note to self, caves are W. E. T. Pack a spare set of clothes, next time.) I had a really great time.
As I mentioned, I patrolled Overbrook a bit last night. With the help of Sean, of course. In addition to getting back at the lost for my soggy shoes, we also stuck it to some Clockwork. Now, I'm not expert, but I didn't think robots had souls. It's actually really bugging me that I was not only able to effect them with my spirit powers, but even give them a change of heart. It's kind of freaky. Just what is the story behind those things, anyway?
Anyway, after that, I went back to the school and ended up hanging out with a girl, Kat, I think, in the court yard. Then Dominic came, and after that it was almost a full blown party. I've gotta wonder if it's like that every night, because it seemed completely normal to everyone else. That is, completely normal that about twenty students happened to show up in the same spot.
After that, though, I got my first taste of the school outside of the friendly welcomes. Honestly, I'm kind of relieved that there's at least some conflict. Things just don't seem right unless there's a problem. But, explainging on that, this guy, I think his name was Dimitri, and somebody else who I forget the name of, got into a big argument almost right as the Dimitri walks in. I don't really know the backstory to it, but it was relieving to see that the people here are... Well, human.
So, nothing else of interest really happened. I went back to my temp housing and studied the rest of the night. Gotta work hard to keep those Bs, after all.
Signing off.
