Nova was stabilized at 4:46 AM being moved to the SJS facilities in the early hours of the morning. He has been suspended from Vanguard as well as any and all other Hero activities until a full investigation can be completed.
**At first sight he was laying in the med bay like so many times before, in fact at a quick glance most of his body was no worse for wear. One of the attendants slowly removed a tube from his throat as he was breathing on his own again, they expected him to make a full recovery, it would just take him some time thats all.
Beside his bed lay a stack of papers in a folder, the cover marked "Freedom Corps Classified " A single piece of paper stuck out reading " To the office of Saint Joseph's School, We have completed our evaluation of the student Nova Daystar who was assigned your facilities 6 months ago. Based on our continued research, it has been determined that Nova and his abilities are not as dangerous as we once believed them to be. Those he called "Celestial" in nature are at best capable of only localized destruction, however it seems now destruction is only a very limited aspect of what he can do. Healing, protection, manifesting and controlling energy separated from himself, flight, and many other things. While his abilities are unique, we are taking it under considering to possibly re assign him a security level more appropriate to his abilities. Until further research can be done to determine his skill and what he may have learned over the past 6 months, please suspend all patrol duties for this student."
One of the nurses who had been with him since he had got here looked over the paper sliding it back in. "I guess they figured you out just a little to late eh Nova?" For now he just lay there quietly resting, a slow but steady rise and fall in his chest.

It wasn't until later that day an official report was entered, a copy of which was sent over to Saint Joseph's.
"After looking into the matter regarding information taken from the logs of Cadet Nova Daystar it has been discovered that within Vanguard there exists a group of radicals, calling themselves "The Sword". They have separated from the group and are currently perusing their own agendas. The sword is made of a combination of Vanguard and Longbow troops, who wish to disrupt efforts to establish a connection with a faction of Ritki who are against the invasion. It was confirmed that Nova met up with Lt. Sefu Tendaji who we had believed was captured just days early (and was brought back in by Nova). Our information seems to suggest Nova was ambushed by rogue vanguard, but in the end it would appear that the Lt. is responsible for the most severe of his injuries. I can assure you we have every available resource looking to bring in the rouge agents, for now we are removing the ban on Nova's mission status pending being cleared by the medical facilities."

Because of the how I wrote/animated this as a bit vague, I will try to clear up what happen here hopefully putting minds at rest.
The Gaussian Arc as some of you know allows you to fight against both Vanguard and Longbow Troops who represent a rouge faction displeased with the way Vanguard is attempting to make peace with some of the Rikti.
IC this was played out by Blitzen and Nova Ascended. Both of them are currently enrolled in the CVC, however due to the nature of many of these missions seeming to go above and beyond CVC happenings, it is played off like they receive hints and tips (much like radio missions) where So and So needs some help, go do this.
Of course fighting "the good guys" in the form of Vanguard and Longbow is a bit controversial. So here we have the current happenings. Nova approached Lt. Whats his name after being captured by the Rouge group to get a perspective on somethings after getting into an argument with Sam about the way things were handled in the war zone. So the LT turns on him, and knocks him out with a devastating attack. This is being currently played out IC as thinking he (Nova) did something wrong when he followed the tips he was given. He has mentioned to several character that he thinks Longbow and Vanguard are in fact after him (Paranoia?) However as we know, this rouge faction is not in fact going to be hunting down some 15 year old kid (unless maybe this was the adventures of Nova Daystar Movie) So while IC he is afraid, OOC there will be no grand schemes played out by m where at every corner every longbow is going to jump him. To spoil the story, it as an isolated incident as I have finished the Arc.
Moving on - In the Vid if you caught it, it said Nova was pronounced twice, the first time at like 1:38 then again at 1:42 the idea behind this was, even though he was pretty messed up, he was still fighting. As I stated in previous posts, Nova A is much more vulnerable to harm, possibly why he is in and out of the med bay so much anymore. Nova D has potent restorative powers, so he is more likely to get back up and keep fighting. So, the question was asked... "How did Nova A come back after being out for an hour like that" Well the answer is two fold, 1 his brother was there, they both have similar abilities and he was able to revive the spark of life inside him. 2. I chose 1 hour at pretty much random, I could have said 5 ..10.. or 15 minutes. This comes to another issue which I will get too shortly. At any rate, IC he still pays the consequences of being out with no vitals for that long as some of you may have noticed him stopping into the Med Bay to get a strange IV put in his arm. Okay, so yes Nova A is squishie, no I didn't want to kill off my character, yes I wanted to bring him near death and I apologize for the hour instead of going with 5-10 minutes.
Anyway, the final issue that was brought up. The Boards vs. Nova in character. Talking with another player, we had a disagreement on the purpose of the board. They are probably right on the matter, but I will give my perspective and how I write hopefully clearing some stuff up.
On the board when you see a Closed post with information pertaining to Nova, to me its like you picked up a copy of the Comic "Adventures of Nova Daystar" in the comic store that is SJS. This is an usually aggrandized account of battles, loves, and losses that may one day be adapted for the big screen. Instead of the every day life of Nova where he is just one of the classmates in a big school, it is your chance to read his story with the view that those around him are supporting characters. However! In game, Nova is nothing more than a supporting character in the story that is SJS. I ask that when you read closed thread stories about Nova, you try to see them as the comic "Nova goes to school Vol 25 Issue 1" and not so much : this week in the SJS comic... NOVA!!! Again!!!! Doing something that overshadows.... etc etc.
Any questions or the like feel free to shoot me a PM and I will do what I can to clear them up. And hey if I see enough people stop reading the Nova comic series I will just have to change my style of how I write about him!
