Bryan Baxter sat in the quiet library, he was alone at the long oak table. He had surrounded himself with lots of books, creating a semi circle around the binder he had open in front of him. The binder was the Flyers playbook that caoch had given the young Freshman.
The young man was paying no attention to the books anyway. He was scribbling away at the corner of his notebook. The primitive looking pencil drawing seemed to be of a young boy in a hero type costume. Gravwarp leaded back in his chair and unsuccessfully tried to hide a yawn.
He rose quietly, picked up a book from his stack and headed off to the shelves to return it. Placing it back on the rack, he heard the library door open. Bryan peaked around the corner to see who had come in.

Trying her best not to catch one of those sharp table corners on her way past, Violin carefully maneuvered the obstacle course that was the SJS library. Trailing happily along behind her was Bailey, the eternally happy golden lab, wearing his bright blue "Seeing Eye Dog" vest.
She paused for a moment feeling for the back of a chair and carefully listened to ensure that no one currently sat in it. She remembered that day well enough to still blush about it.
With a nudge from Bailey she carefully sat down.

Sitting across from her, her face buried in the course catalog, is Joni. She glances up as Violin takes a seat, and her eyes go from her to the dog and back. After a moment, she whispers, "Nice dog. Is he friendly?"

Samantha finally found the book she'd been looking for to write her English Lit paper on, as long as she'd completed it, she'd be caught up and could go on to Sophmore English after the winter break. Math was an entirely different story. "I hate math." She muttered as the thought crossed her brain. Coming out of the ailse, she saw a couple of familiar figures, her roommate, Joni, a classmate she didn't recognize with either a CCI or Seeing Eye Dog, and Wrongway...er... Grav.
"Playbook?" She said over his shoulder. "My plays are a little easier. You know, kick ball through two sticks?" She smiled at him, holding her hands like a field goal before noticing his drawings. "Day-um, those are good! You draw them?" She asked, pointing to the corner of his notebook.

Joni tentatively scritches the dog behind the ears, hoping her fingers aren't too cold for comfort. "He's beautiful..." She spots Sam walking by and waves with her unoccupied hand. "What's his name?"

Grav sat up after Blitzen's voice broke his concentration. A look of wory crossed his face but melted away as he recognized the speaker.
"Hey Sam." he whispered. He looked down at the drawings Uncomfortable with accepting the compliment. "Oh thanks... these are just some costume ideas I was messing with. I say Jase the other day in his outfit and I got kinda anxious." He smiled.
He put away the notebook and his play book. "I don't think I'm supposed to be studying this in study hall but I'm trying not to make an even bigger fool out of myself at the next practice."
Grav noticed Joni sitting at another table with a girl he had never met. He waved to her Joni and smiled.
Seeing the book in Sam's hand, Grav quickly cleared his bookbag from the chair next to him. "Did you want to sit down?"

"Joni. And yeah, I just registered recently. Looking over what classes to start with..." She holds up her catalog to demonstrate, then notices Amy isn't looking at it -- or anything else -- directly. That plus the dog... "Oh. Oh!"

Francis arrives at study hall with a loud crash, nearly falling through the doors, hitting a table and then tipping over onto the floor, her unbelievable stack of books quickly forming a large pile on top of her.
"This is what I get for studying obscure magic."
She hoists herself from the floor, hauls her books into her arms, clutches them perilously to her chest, looks about the room and retorts.
"What?"
With a grumble and a precarious totter her and her striped stockings vanish into the back.

"Sorry to be nosy, but you mean actually, completely blind, then? No second sight, no radar sense, no psychic connection to see through Bailey's eyes... you actually can't see me at all?" The last bit takes an oddly hopeful tone, and she seems to realize that a second later, as she quickly qualifies it with a "Which of course is not a good thing. Sorry."

Bryan feels his foot nudged by an unfamiliar toe. The girl across the table slowly lowers the book she's been hiding behind. It's Nennya Drixxen, the golden-eyed girl upholstered in head-to-toe fur.
Her book is a copy of Annus, dogeared and marked up in ways that students generally don't manage until their third or fourth term, if ever. She hands it over to him along with a pen. He takes it, a little bemused--she wants him to sign her yearbook?--but the page isn't the autographs section. It's the student roster, with pictures. There is a large post-it-note beside a few of the pictures.

He draws a large question mark on the note and hands back the Annus.
Nix shrugs, smiles, and Acontinues making notations in her yearbook.
"Why do you want to know that?" he asks.
"I'm up to no good," she whispers back. "It's okay, I can find out somewhere else."
