"Let's take the back, the middle is crowded and I spotted a few people who will be getting some unnessecary phone calls." Summer answered.
She took the soda and the pop-corn and led Matt by the hand up the steps. She could feel the harshly dug lines of struggle and pain all through the grip, then again she could also feel the sweat from his nervousness.
"You need to relax, its only a-"
Summer's eyes crossed with the girl she hit at the top of the middle section in a small VIP booth.
Matt looked up at her as she tried to finish her sentence, "Sorry, drifted off for a sec. I'm just saying, its only a movie, it won't kill you. Only thing I'm worried you'll do is fall asleep."

"I won't fall asleep this time, I still don't know how I did the first time though..." Matt commented as he followed Summer to one of the rows near the back of the theater.
'I wonder what she was distracted by...' Matt thought.
Shuffling past a few patrons already seated in the aisle seats, Matt sat down beside Summer. 'The last time I was going out to the movies must've been... I guess back on my 12th birthday...'
Quickly shaking out any memories of the past, as images of Crey popped into mind, Matt focused back on his surrounding. 'I should really just forget about the past... Its easier...'
Matt looked over to Summer and gave a little smile and thought, 'Though probably not safer...'

Lily scowled in protest as Summer looked away. She'll pay, Lily thought, oh she'll pay... Lily narrowed her eyes as she started peaking into Summer's mind, getting ready to wrest control from her and make her act like a fool.
---
Her projected self stumbled over a rock in the wastes of Summer's mind. Images of the boy she was sitting right next to along with a girl named Picayune were beside eachother. Storms were cracking with lightning and shaking the ground with each blast. Lily understood, the girl was conflicted with her sexuality. She wanted to have them both but could decide for neither of them. It was a terrible storm for sure.
Lily smiled and raised her hand, the phantoms rose from the ground like zombies obeying their master's wishes. They were contorted, their faces looking like hamburger meat and their bodies not being able to take a proper shape.
"What the..." Lily thought, "This isn't right, she's not psychic, or for that matter smart. What's damaging my projections?"
Spiders burst out of the phantoms and started eating them away. Lily's eyes grew wide as they were torn asunder by these 8 legged freaks of nature. Her expression went to pure terror as she ran, doing her best to pull herself out of the nut house that was this girls mind.
---
Lily looked up and muffled her scream. She took breaths and tried composing herself. Sweat was rolling off her forehead as she sat back. The lights went dark and the screen flickered. The music of Danny Elfman filled the theater as the titles began to roll.

Summer took a sip of her drink and munched on her pop corn. She could see Matt struggling way to hard to keep himself alert, his knuckles were white from gripping the chair and his teeth were grit behind his gums.
"Might need to relax tiger." Summer said slipping in the quote M.J. would say at the end of the film.

Matt took a glance over to Summer, "I'm fine... Just have my mind wandering at the moment that's all. Nothing big, besides wouldn't you have my mind wandering and awake, rather then asleep?"
The crowd in the theatre was getting full and taking a quick glance at his watch Matt could see that it was nearing curtain time for the showing. 'Spiderman... I know he was a comic hero, but other then that... I have no idea what this movie is about... Should be interesting...'
"I hope this movie isn't long, I wouldn't want to get you in trouble with the nuns and curfew." Matt remarked quickly thinking over the rest of the date's agenda...

(Agreed, still got Dinner hehe)
Coming out of the show Matt now caught Summer's earlier reference. "I guess you have seen this movie several times and I held true to my word and didn't fall asleep. I hope you didn't fill up on popcorn though we still have dinner. Do you have any preference, or would you like to try something different?"
Matt lead Summer over out of the way as the crowd behind them poured onto the streets, heading all onto their lives elsewhere.

"Just no place with Onions..." Summer joked.
She breathed mentally, great, here the guy was worried about getting back on time and now he wants dinner. Summer thought.
"Actually, I'm in the mood for Italian, pizza sound good to you?" Summer asked.

"Sure Pizza sounds good... You know any areas close to here? Or should I just 'port us both to one?" Matt asked as he watched people hail for cabs and walk down the sidewalk.
'Well I kept my promise about the movie, now just dinner and this was a success... I hope she's having a good time though...' Matt thought as he looked over to Summer awaiting for her answer.

"Well, if I'm right, Rickshaw's is down the street about two blocks. Figure we oughta walk, making a pop and teleporting to the place would definetly cause a commotion." Summer pointed out.
She took his hand and the two started down the street cutting through the crowds of people with Summer leading the way. Matt's hand was still sweating which means he was still nervous and still worried stiff that this was going down hill. Summer wanted to say something about it, to calm his nerves but she wasn't very good at delivering compliments to calm someone down. She did her best with a look back and a smile.

Following Summer, Matt was glad she knew this area of town better then him. He had tried hard to learn most of Paragon's layout but sadly he didn't have enough time to cram it all in before the date tonight. The crowds quickly disappated as the two of them made their way away from the theatre, and Matt managed to keep his pace so he was walking beside Summer instead of tailing behind her.
Eventually he caught sight of the Pizzeria and opened the door to allow Summer to enter first. He quickly caught sight of a free booth and lead Summer over to it allowing her to sit down comfortably first and then slided in opposite of her.
"So, what would you like? Share one pizza?" Matt asked as he looked at her across from him, "And I know no onions heh."

Summer yanked out a menu and laid it out in front of him, "Let's see, off the top of my head, I'd say black Olives, Pepperoni and Hamburger all on a chicago style deep dish. Just a medium will fill us up till tomorrow morning without much trouble."
She looked up at Matt, mentally kicking her own ass because she'd just let her power get the better of her and knew before he did what was going to be on the pizza.

Matt looked back at Summer with a smile, "Sure that sounds good. Just enough to keep us going."
Eventually the waitress came around and took the order, leaving them to talk amongst themselves again. Matt made sure to get two soft drinks along with the order that came back shortly after.
"So... How are your classes?" Matt asked trying to figure out just what to talk about.

"No... I'm only staying ahead by a week now... I just want to make sure that if I get busy that I don't fall behind at all." Matt replied, "I'm trying not to focus only on my schoolwork like you said..."
Matt took a small sip from his soda, he had a bunch of small talk thoughts in his mind to talk about to kill time but really he saw no point to the whole small talk... It was all just beating around the bush...
Stuttering a bit at first, "So... What made you like me...?"
Realizing he probably caught Summer off guard, "I mean, I wasn't very active with the rest of the students so... Why me? I'm just... Curious I guess..."
