A cool crisp fall breeze blew the purple strands of the standing dark woman. She layed her red eyes to gaze upon unfamiliar grounds of her mission. Dressed mostly in black with thin tribal marking know to the Isles she lifted the mission statement to read. It was a simple recon mission, but a dangerous one. She’d been told this was the most dangerous mission she’d ever done. Or that’s what they told her. It was impossible for her to know, she didn’t remember. Her name, her job and a file of her last year of activity with the group on a file was what remained of her memories. Though the use of the memories from her past missions would be a great aid in this mission. In the end it was all irrelevant. What mattered was the success of the mission and therefore passed on to the success of the Empire. She wasn’t a physic like most of the others how ever they felt she had the ability and her physical strength, stealth, attention to detail and fighting skill were what they needed most with in their group. A frown formed on her face below the mask she wore. Her horns and tail made her very identifiable. The thought of attempting to cut off her horns had crossed her mind but if that was the case why had she let them grow fully in the first place? Her eyes rose again to the blocks and glowing walls of the sectioned off city. A flick of her wrist she managed to pull up a lighter lit with a small flame and set it to the paper with her mission details. The letters burned read as follows.
Widow Eshva,
We require you to travel deep into Paragon City Section Atlas Park and Peregrine Island acquire any information on the portals and the time travel portal to Recluse Victory. Secondary objective, Blend in and keep tabs on the many good do-er’s that roam the streets. If possible examine younger “hero’s” and determine if they will be a possible threat to Lord Recluse and the Empire. Suggested time for this mission is yet to be determined we will keep in touch.

“I can’t find him anywhere!” Erika weeped as she returned into pocket D, Eshva raised her head from talking to Jayden and felt butterflies in her stomach. “I don't know what I'm going to do if he's really gone. I can't be alone again. I've been to his island, to his old home, to my old home, to all the places we.. uh... hung out... The bus station, the airport, the docks...” Erika listed on with tears running down her face. Frowning, Eshva let out a sigh as she put and arm around Erika.
“I'll help you find him, I seem to have a knack for it.. oddly.” Eshva grinned. She did find Rin with no clues at the start and Jayden. She wished she had the experience before when finding Rin the GPS located on the comms would have been useful and probably would have saved some time and maybe Rin. “He should have his comm on him.. It has a GPS tracking device on it. We could locate him that way.”
Erika smacked her forhead and pulled out the device and pressed the button to speak. “Stoned, where the hell are you?”
“Too! Come out” Eshva followed along. Jayden also wanting to help pulled out two comms and spoke into both. “Stone!”
Blinking Eshva and Erika stared at the little blue skinned boy cutely holding two comms as he grinned and waved his tail back and forth. Speaking up with a clear hint of worry.
“Umm... why do you have two comms, Jayden?”
“Wait... Jayden.. er ya what Erika said”
“Stone gave me this one.” Jayden held up the comm in his right hand, placing his on his belt he pulled out what could be clearly seen as a Medi Badge. “This too.” Erika buried her face deep into her hands, a slight horror built up in Eshva’s heart as memories of trying to find Rin flooded her mind.
“Didn't you ask why he was giving you those things?”
Jayden shook his head no. “He said he couldn't bring them where he was going.”
Erika pressed on. “And did you ask where he was going?”
Jayden again shook his head no. Erika went white but quickly her face grew red with frustration. “Dammit! Aren't you ever curious about anything other than milksacks!” Jaydens eyes went wide as he bolted behind Eshva. Moisture built up in his eyes as he wrapped his arms around Eshva’s legs. Eshva frowned as she attempted to turn around and hug the boy. Erika clamed her self down.
“I... I'm sorry, Jayden... It's not your fault...”
Eshva spoke up.
“I'll help you find him Erika.. I promise”
Erika slumped back against the pool table and slid down the leg into a sitting position.
“Now I've screwed up another relationship...”
“Hey you're not giving up now. Relationships aren't easy things....” Eshva looked up at Erika while still comforting Jayden.
“What did I do to drive him away?”
“Let’s find out, I'm sure it’s just a misunderstanding”
“He's going to do something stupid now, I just know it.”
A frown came across Jayden’s face as he watched Erika weep. The young boyish face seemed to concentrate harder trying to remember something that would cheer her up.
“He said he needed to know where his brother was”
“Too has a brother?” Eshva queried, she’d heard nothing about Too having any sorts of family before now. Erika went slightly paler.
“I guess he did say his twin” Jayden added.
“Oh god, haven't we had enough trouble from that alternate dimension?” Erika made a fist. Eshva was more taken back by the simple fact that not only did Jayden say brother but a twin as well. Erika noticed the massive confusion on her face. “I uh... met Stoned's twin a while back. He ended up here, and he'd been in the Rogue Isles with some Bloodvine kids.”
“That means Too is probably in the Isles....” Eshva concluded.
“If he went for his twin, yes. Oh, I should have expected this. He said something about having to be the one to stop him, or something.”
Eshva went speechless for a moment. She could relate to Erika and the missing boyfriend ordeal. Eshva just hoped the results wouldn’t be the same.
“Why must guys always do that sort of thing alone..” Eshva sighed
“I don't know. They're idiots, I guess. So how would he get to the Rogue Isles? Does he have any connections you know about?”
“It’s not too hard to get in... In fact I have a sister... that’s in juvi on that side” Erika interrupted Eshva’s train of thought.
“If I leave town and go to the Rogue Isles on an unauthorized trip, I am so screwed. They're never gonna let me see my brother again. They might even pull me out of Saint Joe's and send me to Reform School. I could even end up in the zig!”
Eshva let go of Jayden and stood up and took in a deep breath.
“Then I can go.”
Erika looked up at her. “I'm not afraid to go. It's just that... my movements are restricted.”
“Exactly mine aren't…. TOO!” A grin came across her face as what clearly looked like Too walked up to the three of them. Her grin was quickly wiped off her face when Electricity started to swirl around his feet and she took a few steps back. “..... Wait...” Erika glanced at the impersonator “That's not Stoned. Fancy meeting you again.”
“Hoped I'd find you here.”
“So... you were looking for me?”
“Yeah, no more attacks”
“Attacks?” Eshva raised an eyebrow.
“He came after me but I was with a bunch of friends, we droped him off a tall building knowing that his med badge would bring him back here. But tell him to stay away.”
The look alike made a fist and shook it angrily towards the group. Erika’s face went paler she took in a deep breath before daring to speak the words she needed an answer to.
“Where... where was this tall building?”
“Grandvill.”
Erika went even paler; Eshva also managed a gulp of nervousness.
“So in a few days when he wakes up from the beating we gave him, tell him to stay away.” The imposter cracked his knuckles and grinned a bit. Furry ate at the fire tankers heart.
“If anything has happened to Stoned, MY Stoned... I swear... I will hunt you down and kill you.”
“Erika can we talk”
“We are talking.”
“I mean you and I.”
“One moment...” Erika bravely lent over to Eshva and whispered in to her ear. “Don't say anything about the med badge. I won't give him the satisfaction...” Eshva nodded her head and whispered back.
“Want me to find him?”
“If you can...” Turning towards Too’s twin Erika nodded her head denoting she was ready to talk to him. “Okay, upstairs” The pair walked up the stairs and Eshva walked over to the bar. Plaguing her mind on how to get over to the isles to find Too. She’d never been over there in the frist place, how would she get to Grandvill in the first place. She buried her face into her hands as a male voice offered.
“Care for some coffee? My treat.”
Eshva’s eyes rose over to a man in a suit with a star like tattoo on his face. He stood proud and almost with a military stance. A goatee and brown hair framed his strong facial features.
“No thanks I’m worried about a friend over in the Isles.”
“Aww, Rogue Isle ain't so bad once you get use to it. Bye the way. I’m Shagohad.”
“You live over there?”
The man nodded. A hope lit up in Eshva’s eyes.
“Actually if you want to take me over to the isles that would be splendid. That would make my day.” Eshva rose from her seat.
“Then I shall esquire you to the Isles, for the music, the food and the stories.” Shagohad grin and like a gentleman offered his arm. Eshva accepted the arm and together they walked over to the Elevator doors that led to the Isles.
