Suggestions such as "click this link!"Mimi wrote:since anyone might conceivably have a suggestion

I take comfort, though, knowing spammers will burn in a special level of hell... *leaves someone else to finish the quote*

I sortof take comfort that this seems to be the only thread the bots hit, again and again and again.Cryogene wrote:Suggestions such as "click this link!"Mimi wrote:since anyone might conceivably have a suggestion![]()

I think I should revoice my thoughts that this should be member post only. So far, other than someone looking for an old member, there has been no other useful posts from non-members, and it has become a spam thread.
Any other suggestions could be /tell'd to a person in game.
Sorry if I come off like an ass here, but spam on private forums like this really ticks me off.

In addition to the person looking for a friend, there was also the Young Defenders who were looking to make SG friends with us. Though really, it's still not very many posts at all.
I think that "All Other Concerns" should get folded into "Other Issues" because, in practice, they serve the same purpose. If a non-member really does have a concern, they can voice it in "Contacts and Messages". Given how very, very rare it is that we get a non-member posting, one generic forum is more than sufficient for them. I'd much rather see member posts (the ones in "All Other Concerns") protected from bot drivel.
I would like to see us keep "Contacts and Messages". I can deal with spam posts in one forum that's intended to be public and used primarily by guests. Perhaps we can give Upperclassmen limited mod privs on "Contacts and Messages", and explicitly tell them that the only thing they are allowed do is delete spam? That would help keep it clean.
