Messing with Moltar (Open)

Sister Mary Moltar was doing her best to stir up a lively discussion on Dicken's A Tale of Two Cities. Given that much of the class had obviously not read today's assignment, the task was proving rather difficult. The students knew that the occasional momentary wisps of flame that flickered about the nun's hands weren't figments of their imagination: they were a warning sign that nobody had better step out of line this morning.
Just as Andrew (Hedgehog) was starting to say something that had every appearance of being both interesting and insightful, the classroom door crashed open and one of the Day twins stumbled into the room. "Sorry I'm late, Sister Moltar. I couldn't find my brother."
Sister Moltar's eyes sparked dangerously. "Mr. Day," she intoned, "please take your seat. While I am delighted that you deigned to join us for class for a change, I do not appreciate interuptions due to tardiness. Be sure it doesn't happen again." The wisps of flame were now dancing about her hands. After taking a moment to regather her thoughts, she gestured to Andrew to continue.
Right as Andrew seemed to be getting back into the interesting part of his comments, the classroom door crashed open again and the other Day twin stumbled into the room. "Sorry I'm late, Sister Moltar. I couldn't find my... oh look, there he is!"
Students in the front row of the classroom recoiled as the piece of chalk in Sister Mary Moltar's hands exploded, sending smoldering chunks flying.
