Spoiler:
Even though I am posting this with Damian, he will not be in this story. This is about what LBBO did for the SJS catastrophe.
Maddam sat at her glass desk; it seemingly floated in its place, no other type of material interlaced with the glass. Her left hand found her temple as she massaged it, using another hand to reach over to take a drink from the contents in the glass that sat to her right.

“This is a sad day.” She sighed as she looked on to the monitor attached to her wall about 20 feet in front of her, “can’t say I didn’t see it coming.” Her gaze was fierce as she looked on at the television, a reporter standing outside a ten foot iron gate blaring on about the Saint Joseph’s School cataclysm.

Her phone rang and a smile found her face as she reached for it. “General Blair.” She spoke with the phone to her ear, the creases in the corner of her mouth remained.

“Yes…I am aware of the situation.” She paused, “So, not only was the bunker team there, Echo, Lima, Sierra and Tango team were boots on ground also?” She shook her head as she received the corresponding information from the other-side of the phone. “You guys really know how to add fuel to the fire, don’t you?”

“I am aware…I also sent in CHRONO for support.” “Is that right…is he sure?” she asked as she spun her glass around in small circles on the table. Her face reading more of a winning smirk, and obviously the information that was being passed over the line was something that she wanted to hear. She took another sip from her glass before acknowledging the other person.

“Understandable, the Black Lions will be activated. Mission will commence within the hour.” She hung up the phone, and finished off her drink. Standing to her feet she smirked again. “I was wondering when they were going to call.”

~~~~~~~~~
The air in the room was cold, and things were still. Computer screens glimmered and pulsed as a black lion flashed across the displays. A table sat in the middle of the room, about conference size, surrounded by roll away metal and leather chairs. In the middle of the metal table a see through section sat.
The silence was interrupted by a clamor of individuals as they entered, all having their own conversations as they found their seats, some sitting while others stood or found the edge of the desk rather than the chair.
One of them looked at his watch then around the room. His hair was black, but bits of aqua could be seen under the fluorescents, his eyes continued to scan the room. “All accounted for but one…”
The rest of the group followed suit, their eyes searching, “Galisto?” A woman asked, her fair tan skin began to change over to a mercury color as her face contorted. “She is never on time…she’s an infiltrator, she sho-“
“I'm here Akana.” The meek voice interrupted. “Behind you…” she finished falling into visibility as her camouflage gave way.
“Captain Singleton.” Akana bluntly followed, referring to herself, causing the pink haired girl to cast an eye at her.
“Roger that…Captain,” Galisto answered turning away from Akana to look towards the door as another woman entered into the room. Her green and white hair fell down past her shoulders as it complemented her corresponding colored skin.
“How about you two chill out,” she barked as she entered, “We have bigger fish to fry…there's a school that needs our help at the moment, the quarrels can come about later….got it?”
“Yes Maddam,” the gray skinned girl replied as her body began to turn back to its original color. Her husband Jordan placed a hand on her shoulder, helping to calm her down. Akana usually got up tight when it came to missions; she was the serious one of the group, actually both of the Singletons were extremely serious when it came to rules and regulations.
“Maddam,” Galisto followed pushing a couple loose strands of pink behind her ear.
The general, or as she was so openly called, Maddam, looked around the room at her unit. A mixture of veterans and rookies scattered about the conference area. The veterans were members that worked with her when the Black Ops unit was running over 5 years ago. The rookies filled the element recently since it was brought out of retirement.
“We have a very important mission,” she spoke as she pointed to the table, urging for the members in the room to group around it. “Saint Joseph’s school is under attack…as of, Ten hundred hours. There are a mass of replica Gemini plaguing the school, draining the powers from students and Longbow members as they disperse about.”
“Wait a second,” Akana interrupted keeping her gaze on the General. “Do you mean Gemini, as in Janine Sinclair.” Her eyes were wide with concern as she lingered there in suspense, waiting for an answer.
“I…I‘m sorry to say Akana…there are only a couple of replicas of the Janine that you knew still spread out about the school campus. The menace would be her sister…she managed to get into the lower bunker and siphon the power from a student in stasis…then, she synced back up with Janine.”
“I thought she was…dead?” Akana spoke as she seemed to sadden at the thought of her child-hood friend being over run. The two met in school as they both attended Bloodvine Academy.
“So did everyone else.” Maddam sighed.
“So, what’s the mission Maddam?” The dark, aqua high-light haired man spoke up, looking on towards the general as he placed a calm hand to the table. “Obviously, shit's out of control…if they called us.”
“Indeed it is Elias.” She agreed taking a step closer to the table to place a hand on it. When her fingers met the clear surface the image of a computer desktop popped up the same black lion image sat on the background, she swiftly cast her hand to the right, tossing the image away. She then brought both her hands together on the surface, spreading them apart as she pulled up another image, this time of an aerial view of the campus.
The group put their sites on the map layout that was now on the screen, “The situation…we have students, faculty members and longbow agents alike, trapped on the campus. The threat, a Nictus being and a horde of Gemini duplicates.”
She pointed a finger to a spot on the map, the diagram showed the area slightly demolished, the terrain reading as though it had dropped through the earth, making it un-leveled from the rest of the vicinity. The locale lit up with an orange circle that resembled a bulls-eye when her finger met it, indicating the spot she was talking about. “This is where the bunker /was/.” She sighed as she looked back up to the rest of the group.
The district on the map continued to flash as she moved her finger to another grid, “The dormitories are in this region…we have reason to believe that there are still some students trapped in their rooms and maybe even other students trying to rescue them.”
“Then we will be bringing them to safety as well?” a short haired woman asked as she sat in one of the chairs.
“Yes, Areik…it’s a rescue mission…so with that, we may also have to give medical support.”
“Understood,” Areik answered, casting her gaze back to the map.
“The LZ (landing zone) is here.” Neutron continued, pointing to another grid on the map. It was one of the only clear spots on campus. It was far enough away for them to get in undetected, but close enough so that they could get to the areas they needed to be in, as fast as they could. “We will fly in using a heli-jet.”
The group looked around at one another, grasping the brief of the mission. Smiles finding some of their faces since, this would be the first time that they actual flew in a heli-jet to a mission. “The plan is to go in with three four-man cells.” She continued.
“Three support, three ranger, three heavies, and three infiltrators.” Elias added.
“Yes, that‘s the idea. Once on ground we will disperse…three teams…three different spots.” She touched the screen causing three vicinities to light up. “One team will head to the bunker, the other team will move towards the quads and the last team will sweep the area.” The group shook their heads in agreement as they watched her hand move from point A to point B.
“Galisto, you’re the only one that will go in solo. Your mission is to find Volucris and his CHRONO team. Their mission was to support Longbow and clear out the LZ…support them…your first step, however, is to ensure that the LZ is clear for the rest of us.” She spoke, looking at Galisto as she explained.
“Roger that Maddam.” She answered casting her gaze to the map, “I am guessing that my entrance will be via Halo drop?” She asked.
“Exactly.” Neutron answered.
Galisto examined the map before she spoke, “Ok…may I request this area,” she pointed to a spot on the map. The landscape read to be the second highest point on the school campus, just outside the area where the bunker was. To her, it was a nice spot to scout from, before entering. And the most logical spot for anyone to go to try to signal for aerial help, “for my LZ?”
“Let the pilot know once you are in your heli-jet…your mission has commenced…you have fifteen minutes.”
“Roger that,” she replied slapping a hand across her rapid change device, her uniform magically appearing on her. She easily resembled a ninja; her sword placed down the middle of her back, with two silenced 9mm Beretta’s holstered one to each thigh. “See you when you get there.”
Maddam Neutron looked around the group as Galisto exited the conference room. “Alright Lions…gear up. We leave in 15.”
~~~~~~~~~

“Lieutenant” the pilot called over the headset as he switched the controls over to hover and turned to look into the aft of the heli-jet, “These are the quardnates you asked for. The weather is clear, rough wind from this height however, about 40 knots. The closer you get to the ground, the slower the wind will be. Visibility is also clear. You will be jumping from 13,000 feet.”

Galisto grabbed her helmet not acknowledging the pilot as she unstrapped her harness and rose to her feet. The side door of the heli-jet slid open as she pressed a button on its bulkhead. She put the helmet on and then looked back at the pilot, finally acknowledging him with thumbs up before leaping from the bird.

Turning around in his seat the pilot changed the controls back over from hover as he began to speak over the communications device again. “Maddam, the package has been delivered.”

Galisto dropped through the sky, her arms as tight to her side as she could possibly get them, her head towards the ground as she looked on, gaining speed with each inch. The airstream ripped past her as she sliced through it, the rugged sound of wind pressure beating against her helmet. The fall seemed to come quickly as she waited to reach her target height.

“2000 yards” she spoke over the comms, “switching H.U.D to on board targeting systems.”

Slowly, fighting against the wind, she lifted her arms up and spread her legs, opening the flaps on her suit, slowing her decent slightly as the updraft caught her, lifting her back up into the air. “1500. The H.U.D is picking up friendlies in my drop zone.”

“How many?” Elias asked her over the comms.

“Six,” she answered, keeping her arms and legs spread as her fall went into a gliding hover. “There seems to be three adults and three teens. Just to let you know, this new targeting device rocks.”

“Anything else?”

Galisto turned her head to look around the area; she gasped as she saw something un-nerving. “Yes…they are surrounded…it seems to be the Gemini that Maddam was talking about. When I land, I'm going to have to engage.”

“Do what you have to Galisto…what /ever/ you have to, just don’t let the Gemini touch you. The results could be dire.” Maddam called back over the comms.

“Roger that.” She answered as she brought her arms back to her side and closed her legs, once again propelling herself back into the direction of the ground below her. Her hands found the grips of her sidearm as she came closer to the ground.

“Sanjera…are you not going to glide in?” her cousin asked over the comms.

“There isn’t enough time for that Elias…I can handle the drop.” She answered back switching the 9mm’s from safe to fire.

The voice over the communication system chuckled, “be careful.”

“50 yards” she calmly spoke, exhaling as she pulled the weapons from their holsters. Pointing them to a target she began to squeeze the triggers taking out her marks as she hit the ground. “Hit the deck!” she yelled to the group of friendlies as she continued her silenced assault on the enemy. Spreading her arms out to her sides, squeezing the triggers as the rounds wisped through the air following the direction she pointed them. Quickly she holstered her sidearms, pulling her primary weapon, letting it meet the final threat.

“Who the hell are you?” one of the students asked…looking up to her from the ground. The antenna on his forehead twitched in his confusion.

“You must be Galisto,” a man asked as she placed her katana back into its sheath, “I was beginning to wonder if you guys would ever get here."

“Volucris?” she asked not turning to look at him.

“Yes…that-“

“Is the LZ secured?” she asked, interrupting him mid sentence. Finally she turned to him, getting an eye full of the students she had saved.

“I was on the way to do that…then we got overrun by the fleet of Gemini you just took out. Thanks by the way.” He answered with a smile on his face.

Galisto looked around at the tiny group of people, the children were fatigued and she could see it. She could imagine the hell that they had gone through that day. Even though her job called for her to be emotionless most of the time, she couldn’t think of leaving the students here without her while she went to clear the area. It would be negligent on her part, not to mention, there was no way they had the strength to protect themselves if another group of Gemini decided to swing back by.

“Stay close.” She said with ease, finally taking off her helmet, allowing her pink hair to fall down her back, her face still covered in its ninja attire. “We’re going to the LZ…back-up is on the way.”

“How do you expect us to do that? It’s a war zone here.” One of the adults asked her, slight malice in his voice as he stepped forward towards her.

“I expect you to do it by listening to what I say. The children are the priority…I could care less if you die…but, if they do…its mission failed. And, I don’t fail.” She grimly spat back at the agent, causing him to step back away from her. “The children will get in the middle and we…/adults/, will form a 360 degree perimeter around them, protecting them at all sides…that’s how we are going to get to the LZ.”

“You have the helm Lieutenant.” Volucris answered.

“Then let’s move…we have five minutes before the rest of the lion’s rain down on that grid.”

“Lions?” one of the children asked, looking up at Galisto, the cat-like slits in her eyes thinning.

“Yes” Galisto smiled, “let’s move people.”

~~~~~~~~~
The Maddam looked around at her group, all of them geared up for the battle that was ahead of them. This was something that they trained for and something that they all have been waiting for. She could see the eagerness as most of them checked their sidearms. The engines of the heli-jet whined as it came to a drift, the propellers in the wings beginning to spin as they supported the hover. The side door launched its self open and all the Black Lions rose to their feet, as they placed ear buds into their ears and voice pads around their necks for communication; Their red and black uniforms complimenting the red lit interior of the bird.
“Lions, Galisto informed me that we are dropping into a hot LZ. She did what she could to clear the area, but the children she was protecting took priority. We /are/ at war, don’t forget that…you know your teams…you know your mission. Let’s get in and take out some bad guys. If anyone needs us now…it’s the students.”
The inhabitants in the aft of the heli-jet nodded or let out an “oorah” as they began to line up to the side door. Each person taking a step out of the bird one by one, dropping into the battle zone that was once known as Saint Joseph’s School.
