The above listing provides a list of all students known to be currently enrolled at Saint Joseph School, along with their current grade. Here are some questions and answers that should help you use this thread.

What characters should be included in the above list?
Any student who is being roleplayed as currently attending Saint Joseph School. In addition to player characters currently on the SJS roster, this also includes non-player character students, characters in Chronicles, and any other player character that is not on our roster but who is still roleplayed as being enrolled.

How do you determine what name gets used in the list?
Students are listed by their full name (last name first) as would be found be on the school's rosters. In other words, this is the name that the substitute teacher is probably going to read off during roll call. In cases where a character's full name is substantially different from their in-game handle, their in-game handle may be provided after their full name as a parenthetical.

Isn't this just going to fall out of date?
From time to time. However, we'll try to bump the thread to generate interest in it at the end/beginning of each semester since many students may choose to advance to the next grade at those times. If you notice that the listing is out of date, please feel free to bump the thread and, if you can, provide suggested updates.

I play my character in wonky time. Is this going to force me to age my character?
Absolutely not! You are not required to advance your character's age and grade. You may keep them in a given grade for as long as you like.

My character's not on the list. What do I do?
Post in the thread below and let us know what grade your character in, and we'll update it. Or, if you're shy, you can send a PM to the Continuity Wrangler.

The first and second posts should give you a good idea of what I'm hoping to accomplish here. The first post should also make it pretty obvious that I need a LOT of information yet. (And for all I know, some of the scant information I managed to collect might already be out of date!)

So, please, post and let me know what grade your character is in. We're at that transition time when some students are moving from one grade to the next -- if your character is one of those, then tell me what grade they're going into.

Additionally, if you know of any player characters who are not currently enrolled but should be on the list anyway, please let me know. Or poke the player in question and have them let me know.

Rodrigues, Joao - tentatively a freshman next year, but with a bunch of catch up, remedial classes and peer and faculty tutors.

I haven't aged Diyar since he got here, but I think it'll be happening this year. Once the summer-session is over and the traditional school year starts back up, Diyar will be a Junior

Joni and Elly both have the correct grades, although to clarify, they're the grades for the upcoming year, not the past year.

As an aside, I'm glad you thought to make this thread. We don't have a clear idea of which grade someone is just by looking at them, and we don't have physical classes to see each other in. So we've wound up in situations where Frosh and Seniors are freely spending time together, treating each other like equals, when that would rarely if ever happen in a real school of 300 people (maybe if they were both in the same club, but that's it).
