Sam waits for Ves by her locker, and shoves a photo at her when she arrives.




"See? Lusca is absolutely mocking me. That tentacle in the back? It so looks like she's flippin' me off."

Kara happens to come by and looks over Ves's shoulder.

"Sure? We should do something about that. When was the last time we put that squid in her place?"

Mal walked by, overheard the conversation, and peeked at the picture.

"That's a girl? How can you tell?"

"Everybody calls her 'her,' and... I didn't notice that. Lemme see?" Ves takes a moment to look at the picture again carefully. "I think you're right, Sam! That's so the middle tentacle!"
