The Move-In (Open)

A black and purple highlighted sports car pulled into the parking lot outside the gates of St. Joe’s. The pipes on the car a low rumble that suddenly stops, almost instantly followed by the driver side door pushing open then sliding up in a scissor motion. Out steps the blue skinned purple haired girl who slowly closes her door, almost ensuring that she does not break it.
Mirage walked to the trunk and presses the trunk release on her car keys. As the trunk opens she looks through the gates of the school and sighs, “You think this is a good idea Shanoria?”
“Where else are you going to go Mira?”
“I-I don’t know…somewhere” I answered gently, feeling a little out of place standing in the parking lot. “I mean, there isn’t too many people that like me here, you know, because of you.”
“That’s understandable, but in the same instance, there are some people that do like you here, besides, being around other people might help you out with this emotional rollercoaster you seem to always buy a ticket for.”
“Maybe” I looked over into my trunk grabbing my suitcase and putting it to the ground, then grabbing my gym bag that had all of my boxing gear in it, placing the strap cross body over my shoulder. I grabbed my suitcase handle and closed my trunk and began to walk towards the school gates.
