Time to go home

Sage looked around the room making sure that he had packed everything and was ready. The dance was shortly coming and he wanted to make sure that he had left out his outfit for it.
Sage pondered on the dance and wondered if he should even go. At this point he was dateless and to be honest not feeling up to it. Left to his own devices he would simply slip out and find some place to be alone. A thought crossed his mind that he had to get Stasis to dance once and if nothing else show for appreance sake. After all the ladies of Quad 5 would be a lightness on his heavy heart and that would make showing worth it.
Mimi had some announcements about the school Sage thought it would be rude to do duck Mimi and not go. After all the Lady was so very serious but pretty when she smiled. The announcements might not be that great but hearing Mimi's voice was incentive to go.
Sage looked about and found his keys. Home was where he was headed, not to his parents, thank god he thought, but home to his granddad and the lake where it all changed. He wasn't sure what he'd find there but he knew he had to go. Life ended there and life begand there. Good or bad, Sage couldn't tell you even if you asked.
So home, he thought as he walked out of the room and headed to the last of his classes.
