" You think this one looks ok?" Kali asked the florist nervously.
" I mean I never bought a boy flowers before... "


Janice smiled at Kali and nodded.
" Yes thats a nice Boutonniere , simple but elegant . What color did you say his tux is?"

Kali smiled as she held the small rosebud up to her nose and breathed in deeply.

" It's light blue, kinda a baby blue I suppose , maybe a little darker. But the theme colors are blue and white. And I thought maybe a white rose would look extra nice . "

Janice nodded reassuringly.
"yes i think so too. Is there anything else you'll need? "

Kali shook her head no as she turned to approach the counter. She loved the smell in here. She loved the colors and the fragrances.

" No i think this is it. "
As she paid for the small white rosebud she looked up thoughtfully for a moment before asking.
" You don't by chance need any help here do you? I'd love to work in a flower shop after school part time."

Janice smiled and tapped her fingers thoughtfully against the counter a moment.

"I'll tell you what... come in Tuesday after school and we will talk about it ok? "

Kali grinned big as she waved to Janice adn exited the store. Today was going to be a great day.
