Matt heads down the hall and sees Layla at her locker.

Hey Layla! Be careful, I think I saw Bobby with his cell phone out again. I think he's going to try taking a picture of you in your skirt again!

Layla turns around quickly, face slightly red as she tries to hurry grabbing her books.

He better not if he knows what's good for him. It's bad enough they're talkin' about makin' me wear this thing for the rest of the term.

She looks down at the plaid monstrosity and sighs, reaching down to tug on the hem again.

Me and skirts don't mix.

It's really not so bad, Layla! You should talk to Sister Salvation though. Someone told me she might help convince the other nuns not to keep you locked up in it all year.

I still think Bobby really made out well in all this though. Matt laughs good-naturedly. How'd he manage to pull that off anyway?

I have no idea. It's a little weird. I figure he'd HATE being blonde. I guess I forgot how much time he spends on his hair. He could make anything look good.

She grins a little mschieviously and lowers her voice, leaning in towards Matt.

Next time, we'll just dye him. Purple or something.

Matt laughs, clearly delighted at the thought.

That's an awesome idea! He'd still probably make it look good but at least it'd make him feel silly for a while. Oh! I know! We can do it when his roots start to grow out, because he won't like how that looks I bet so he'll probably want you to bleach it more but you can just use dye instead of bleach and he won't know the difference until he looks in a mirror!
