And my adventure begins!

"Dear Diary,
Today, I'll be catching you up to speed on what has happened since the Arachnos Agents stormed George Washington High School, three months ago. It's been fairly difficult to write about it, as it was when my powers seemed to errupt into being. I wish I could keep those friends I had (Emily, Dave, and Girbil), but the fact of the matter is that the lady from Longbow was right. As much as I may not want to harm anyone, there are certain people who will come after my mom and I, to take us away from where we live, and make us do things we don't want to do.
Girbil and Dave were in gym, when the Arachnos airships dropped in and unloaded their soldiers, so they were actually pretty safe, even under the watchful eyes of the agents. Em, and I were in Science, and it turned out our teacher was an undercover operative of Longbow, sent to keep an eye on me, because he whipped out this badge and pistol, and started going rambo on those guys in black. In the confusion, Em was shot, and I managed to get over to her, but saw she was really bad off.
The feeling of cold that ripped me to shreds inside was horrid! I tried to cover her wound up, so that she wouldn't see, and this wierd glow exploded from me, engulfing Em, and partially reversing her injury! She and I both got wierded out, but it kept happening, until she was no longer injured. Sadly, Emily freaked out, and ran away. I never got to say goodbye, and my heart feels everyday like it might shatter, because I think she's affraid of me, now.
Not that it matters, though. I was transfered to this school, St. Joseph School, but got lost from the group because of the book I was reading on alien physiologies. Fortunately, once I figured out that I was lost, a girl named Lycia helped me get in touch with a guy I call Mr H! He's a terribly nice guy, and knows how to flatter people. But, more importantly, he got me to the school! I really like Lycia, and hope she will be okay with us being friends. Well, it looks like classes will begin after breakfast, so I need to go. More later, I promise!"
Kris sat her pen down, and removed her glasses to wipe her eyes. she didn't cry this time, but it did hurt to think of how many times she and her mother had moved across the US. According to her mother, this was their last "hurrah." Their last chance at living in the US, before she just gave up and moved back to Aeon City, in the Rogue Isles. Kris had no memory of the Isles, and wasn't too sure she wanted anything to do with them. But, since the developement of her powers arrising, Kris was absolutely certain that Arachnos wouldn't take her without a fight!
Sighing, she put her glasses back on, and brushed her short cropped red hair, before finishing with putting her uniform on. This was a new day, in a new place. Just like any other new days and new places, but hopefully the last one for a little bit. Kris wondered for a second if they served coffee and croissants to the students, then smiled before heading to breakfast.
