Saint Joseph School

Paragon Supercenter was one of Kali's favorite shopping hangouts.
Aisles and aisles of gift items galore , along with everyday needs and groceries.
She shopped here often for the new kids welcome gifts. As she filled her cart with this weeks chip and coke supplies she began thinking of who all she still needed to catch up to.

She grabbed a case of coke and added it to the cart , and made her way to the chip aisle. Doritos , Fritos , Pringles in several flavors made thier way into the cart. She rounded a corner and the aromatic scent of coffee caught her attention.

" I wonder what kind he likes?"

Grabbing three of the smallest bags she went to the grinder and sniffed the different beans.
The first bag she filled with an organic Mexico City blend , dark and rich the tag said. And as the beans were ground and spilled forth into the bag she breathed deep enjoying the aroma.
The second bag now was filling , French Columbian . She didn't know anything about coffe's but the name suited and she loved the smell.
Now for a third. She spent quite a few minutes smelling and reading the little cards of information before finally choosing Colombian Supremo . It had a sweeter smell to it that she liked.
Carefully she sat the three bags in the front of the cart and made her way to the front of the store to check out.
At the checkout she loaded her bags carefully and grabbed the case of coke and began the trip backot the dorms.She wished she hadnt bought so much , it was hard to carry the three bags and coke all at once.
Finally back in the dorms she sorted todays supplies out carefully, stacking everything into piles of what went to who.
Finally she came to the coffee. Kali smiled warmly as she picked them up and packed them carefully into the small purple gift bag she had also bought. She also placed inside a small stuffed goose that honked when you squeezed it.
Kali squeezed the goose several times , giggling at the honking noise. A bag of spicey Doritos topped the bag hiding the other goodies inside.
From her stack of stationary she chose a small pink card with a yellow rose on the front.
Inside she wrote:

Welcome to the school Jaque.
And thank you very much for the portrait.
I hope you find St Joes as much a home as I have since I came here. See you around !

Underneath her signature she drew a happy face. A large smiling one with freckled cheeks and long eyelashes. Goofy and cartoony in appearance.

Now to find him and give it him. She could watch the halls for him as she delivered the other goodies to the new kids.

The sound of Sanford and Son was blaring from his dorm room. He also had his physics books strewn about the room. He also had a poster of Barbra Eden dressed as a genie on his wall. He looked up from his work and from the t.v

My Super Jaque sense is tingling

Jaque hopped up from his bed and turned off his television. He ran a hand overhis bald head. He then threw on his uniform. He was going to wander through the halls looking for something or somebody to be silly to, Some reason today seemed the perfect day.

He left the jacket in the room as he went to o pester the hallways. He could not wait to find Kali,Stasis,Renn Ligdia or even Billy. He wanted to find somebody who he could honk at and have alot of fun hanging around with.

He had scared two of the nuns earlier today by screaming HONK!. Now it seemed time to harass his friends. He left the door with an evi grin.

Kali made her way through the halls giggling and chatting with the people she passed.
Slung over her shoulder is her bookbag and purse and she carries the purple gift bag for Jaque along with a few other small goodie bags to be duct taped to the lockers of new students.

She asked several people she chatted with if they had seen the new boy this morning. So far noone had.

From some corridor nearby she heard the loud

HONK

of Jaque followed by the surprised reaction of one of the penguins...

"Mr. LaFeyette ! What on earth do you think you're doing young man?"

Snickers and laughs could also be heard so Kali followed in thier direction , a wide smile on her face.

Jaque in an ever crazy manner winked at one of the nuns. He then followed it up with another honk that sent the nun walking away very frustrated. He saw Kali and flashed a grin.

"Its just a matter of knowing how to deal with them cher!" Jaque smiled broadly at Kali. He always loved dealing with and interacting with her. She was easy to make smile.

"So what brings you to thecrazy part of the school?" He bounced up and down with enthuiasm. He wanted to know what brought her here. His Jaque sense was telling him something was afoot!
