((Writing this story to cover my general absence, in-game. I hope it is a good read, and helps to further her story.))
Palilla came out of the Atlas Park Gat into the Civilian Zone. It was just a short distance to the school, but, she had to go ahead and sign herself back out, so the authorities knew where to come looking, if she was needed. At the desk, a young woman happened to look over as she was signing the book.
"Paula Sanchez," she asked the latin teen.
"Jeah," Pally replied. "Dat's me. So what?"
"Sorry, miss," she replied, sliding her chair back to a set of slots, and retreived an envelope. "This came for you from the American Red Cross."
Pally snatched the envelope from the woman, with what appeared to be an upset look on her face. Walking a little ways off, she looked at the cover of the envelope. It bore the name of the hopital her mother and grandmother had passed away in, that day the train hit their car, St. Philip Benizi Hospital. Returning to her quad, the girl sat quietly at her desk, and opened the letter.
"Dear sister Paula, may He watch over and protect you,
We sincerely regret to inform you that your father was brutalized, and was admitted on the 10th of September, 2006. As he was unconscious, at the time, and still has yet to recover consciousness, we had to access our files to find your name. The recent tragedy that occured here, led us to the American Red Cross, who has promised to send word to you as soon as possible. Please come to visit your father, as we fear for his mortality. The order of St Philip Benizi, physician, healer, and miracle worker, is always at your service.
With regards and sincerest prayers for your well being,
Fr. Simon Peter DeHaveline"
Paula knew what was up. The Cartels wanted him to work for them, again, and he wouldn't. It was time to go visit her father, and then deliver his vindication. The petty drug thugs were about to have a bad, bad year. The pit of her stomache burned with anger, and rage. Without even noticing, her powers kicked in, making her tougher to hurt, and shimmer like a Trollkin on 'Dyne.
