The Mission…

It’s been almost 2 weeks since I turned myself in. ever since then the longbow has wanted me to participate in missions to help humanity. But all im interested in is what the commander was telling me...

3 days earlier

“Hartigan. So far you have been a help but learn fast I don’t trust you one bit understand!?”

“I don’t blame you sir”

“Listen…you told us about the Darkwood fella and we tried to take care of him. We sent a team in to take them out and…we got this back this morning”

He pulled out a video tap and turned it on. While the tape started to spin inside the recorder over and over it was silent until the screaming started. The horrible sound of flesh being torn apart and then dropped to the ground. The frightful song that Kearen was playing his lust for blood the symphony…and the screams of his victims the instruments being played by kearen's zombies.

“So…what now”

“Simple…we are sending you in being how you are worth squat. You are going to be given a squad and then sent in. hostile force is without a doubt etherized. Kill him and get out”

“Understood” All I could remember was a smile that came on my face. I thought finally! Im going to get this guy once and for all.

“But listen Hartigan. Your team is going to be made up of people just like you. Scum of the lot. But you show potential these guys if they live are going to spend there lives in jail. If things get rough and you need to get out of there. There lives mean nothing anymore so don’t do anything stupid. Clear?!”

All I could do was Nod…the man was in one of his moods…saying anything else landed me in deep trouble.

“The doors behind you…”

“Have a good night Sir”

I still can’t believe someone in the longbow could say that about lives. It’s as if they save those that deserve to be saved? But a life is a life. Sadly…Orders are orders

The Squad.

Adam sat in his cell sitting on the bench chained to the wall when he heard the iron door open. Walking in was a longbow agent holding 4 files. He opened the door and gave them to Adam and walked out. This squad was made up of a thief, and what looks to be common thugs

“Rest of there lives in jail my ass” escaped Adams lips as the agent left the room.

As he opened the file there was a man named Jeff he likes to be known as Bear for his super strength and his size. Looks like he has been in a lot of bank robberies and he was an assistant in a murder. Bear is strong but not to bright. Mostly should use him as brute force but looks like he is loyal so that should come in handy some how.

Next we have a woman. She’s not bad looking. Says here she’s a pick pocket she’s fast and she’s uses her super speed to steal without anyone realizing she has taken anything until it’s too late. She also uses her sex to get what she needs.

“My kind of girl.” Adam smirked and continued reading the files

The girl is tiny though looks like one good hit and she’s out. Better keep her close or she might get herself hurt.

The last guy looked to be a lot older than Adam he was probably in his late thirties. And this is something new. He is a shape shifter. He has been robbing banks and stealing valuable info from the Longbow for years. Also he was wanted for the murder of a young girl. He claims he didn’t do it but he is the only one on file who is serving a life sentence

“Well…This is going to be one hell of a mission!” Adam lay down on the bench and tried to rest and keep up his strength with al that’s been going on he is going to need it for Kearen

Whack! "OW" Adam woke up on he wooden board after being hit with something hard he looked over and a Longbow was walking out of the cell puting his nightstick away. Adam got up and there next to him was his longbow uniform. he walked out of the cell with the uniform on and went to the main base. there where 3 people a small woman, a guy about the same size as Adam, and then a man bigger than Adam and the woman combine.

"Hello there!" Adam said with a smirk on his face. the team just kind of looked at him for a sec and then the Man who was about the same size as adam Blurted out

"We are so screwd"

"Yes we are." was something the team wasnt expecting to hear from there temp squad leader

"Or at least right now we are. But now out Mission. This guy Kearen Darkwood. is a little shit i want dead. Any questions" The bigger man help up his hand

"Yes" Adam said trying to sound not that interested in his question

"Well first, call me Bear. Also what makes this guy worce than any other bad guy?"

"This" Adam played back the tap recording that The Longbow general had given him

"Ewwwwwwwwww" emediatly came from the womans lips

"Now that we have that done you two would be?"

"Names Chris"

"and im Emma"

"well. Now that we are fully aquanted now we get to the fun part"

A longbow operative in the back Pressed a button on the wall and the wall began to Flip backward. On the other side where guns...Lots of guns from Shotguns to Rocket launchers

As the 4 watched the door moveing and the guns comeing into view. Bear only had this to say "I love this Job"

Adam walked over takeing his Assualt rifle with attachments such as Granades, beanbag launcher, and much more.

Emma walked over and made her way to the light wepons. She picked out 2 Pistols and a Combat knife

Chris Walked over takeing a Automatic shotgun a and a Pistol as a side arm.

Bear made his way looking at the wall and picked out his wepon. he toke a armor pearceing wepon from the rack and held it as if it was nothing more than a rifle.

"Time to do some Damage. Ok this guy stays in some caves in the Isle. Anyone here of the Sharper cault?"

No one rased there hands or showed any knowledge of knowing anything about the cault that Adam spoke of

"Good looks like we are all on the same page." Adam said with a smirk on his face

"Well lets get moveing"

Nissa Made her way to the Longbow HQ and went the the front desk where there a Woman was siting.

"Hello im Nissa Madri i would like to talk to the Head Longbow around here about something. "

The woman at the front desk looked around But Nissa Couldnt be seen She got up and Looked down and there she was.

"Oh well Hello little girl. Did you need something?"

Nissa Sighed and just walked away. and sat in the Loby for a little bit. thats when she saw her chance. a man in the longbow uniform with Medals and awards pined to his chest went out saying he was going to lunch. Nissa Smirked and walked right past the Lady at the front desk and made her way to the Office. Sadly it was locked so she had to find a Key someplace. She looked around but couldnt find anything that could help her. But then she saw the lady at the front desk had a ring of Keys. Nissa Thouth for a second she quickly used her elf speed and grabed the keys right from her pants. She ran back to the door and opened it. Going into the fileing cabanets looking for it

"Ahhh here it is." She grabed the mission report for Mission Darkwood and looked inside

Mission Report.

Target: Kearen Darkwood

Targets Info: Nothing known

Operatives: Adam Hartigan, Emma Summervile, Chris Golden, Beary Troncone

Mission statis: Operatives have made there way to the Isle sucsesfully but are haveing some trouble makeing there way the Sharkshead isle and makeing it into the Targets Hideout.

Nissa sighed and Toke the report with her. She made her way to the Window opened it and Jumped out. Landing softly to the ground she walked away into the streats of Paragon

"Damnit!"

"What now?"

"What do you mean what now!? we have been lost for hours and i thought you where sapposed to--"

"We are here.."

"Oh.."

Adam and the group have been looking around for Kearen Hideout in the ilse for a good 24 hours still no luck untill they saw what looked to be at the bottom of a mineing site a group of freakshow walk in but something was odd about them...they where dead. Going on a hunch Adam was going to go down into the Mine. as he made his way down the steap mound of Dirt he noticed small rocks as if something had been following them down the mound. he turned around to see Nissa Trying to be as stealthy as posible and yet standing in plane site.

"Nissa?"

"Who is she"

"wait here"

Adam walked over and Nissa and he started to argue. after about 20 mins they dessided that Nissa was comeing with them being how she had more knowledge on Lichs in general. And so now that the Party had finaly goten there bareing and was ready to go in the proseded into the mine.
