A clear night in Eden, a proper place for new beginnings.

A ball of light comes crashing from the sky, silent in its entry through the atmosphere, one *ting* as it almost comes in contact with the earth, stopping just feet above its surface, the shockwave from its near impact sends a could of nearby Lesser Devoured monsters reeling.

The surrounding devouring earth, aggrivated, decide to come and greet the intruder.

But with a flash and pulse, they are all knocked unconcious.The light starts to fade returning darkness to the landscape, and the silhoette of a boy begins to form.

His eyes glowing of pure light, he gently rises over the hive of eden, and sets off towards Paragon City.

Walking the halls of the gigantic school. The short skinny boy witht the sky blue hair looks to the left and then to the right.

"Oh. My. God. Why cant I find this stupid room?"

He pushed his glasses a little further up on his nose as he continued to search down the hall.

"B221.... B222.... B223....no no no, this isn't... !! "

"Excuse me! Hey excuse me! Can you help me Im a little....lost"

And his words fell on deaf ears.

*Riiiiiiiing*

"Great, the bell. Now I'm late."

He whipped out his notebook to double check his schedule.

E204... Molecular Biology.

The 13 year old pushed his glasses up on his nose again and took off down the hall stopping every now and then to, with no luck, ask for directions from one of the older students.

Mid stride, a private call came over the comm. Looking around he ducked into a side hall.

Seconds later he stuffed his notebook in his bag, and took off at a sprint towards the exit, with the biggest smile on his face.

Dazzling lights and shining crystals lined the halls of the palace. tapestries af woven silver, pulsating with the radiant energy that was the planets life force illuminated the walkways of the Kra'nich-ta. The palace was a grand place. He recalled careening down its corridors as a fledgling apprentice, barely learning how to control his innate energies. He and the other nova spawn were always getting into mischeif, and causing grief to the light elders.

The halls had grown a little darker and smaller since then, the nictus invaders were beginning to impact the delicate flow of energy from the planets core.

"Those crystals are a nuisance that must be dealt with immediately!"

In the debate hall... a debate hall by name only, it looked the same as any other room. And as if we needed a hall to debate our issues, when we do it telepathically anyway. Formalities.

"Agreed Azrion, but what do you suppose we DO? Every earrior we've sent to combat the nictus crystal has either come back turned or not come back at all."

Usually the light council was a calm and wise group of our elders, but in these times they are reduced to a clueless bunch of children. Trying in vain to find the answer to a problem that apparently has no solution.

"Well... w-we have to do SOMEthing. The longer we sit here debating it the more the crystal eats away at our home."

"I dont know Azrion, I dont.... *hmm? Oh my... yes... we're coming...alright.* It seems we have a visitor....."

"Who is he?"

"What is he?"

"I dont know... where did he come from?"

"Ask him."

"No. YOU ask him."

"Shhh. Quiet, he's coming this way!"

Rin floated down one of the crystalline halls, dazed and stunned slighty by the tremendous light that shone thrugh the billions of faces of the scuplted diamond.

"Who are you stranger? What business do you have here."

.... ... ... ...

"Hmm. I see. So what makes you believe you are in the right place?"

.... ... ... ...

"I haven't heard the name sunstorm in years.... Very well Rin."

Rin followed the creature down a couple more halls. Watched by must've been half the poputation of the city. They finally came upon a grand door, made of what looked like white gold.

As they approached the door slowly opened to reveal what must've been a throne room. Various sculptures outlined the room, which was oval in shape, the ceiling covered only about 3 quarters of the entire space, and it lowered and tapered closer to the throne. Behind the throne were 7 creatures. 2 of which were what are called in paragon city, bright novas, 3 of them creatures known as white dwarfs, and 2 beings of pure light.

The throne looked vacant, but there was definitely somthing there.

"So.... They tell me you have come with the hope to live again...."
