Could we have a school rally like other schools before a big game? I think it would be fun to see you guys, cheering our school on in your uniforms. Being on the Baseball team, we never get to see you cheer. Your always cheering the football team; those lucky guys. Maybe we could convince you with a fund raiser picknick for the school, and the cheer squade could do some cheers.

....of course there is always that person I need to fit into the bobble-head Flying Friars mascot costume...

"STAAAAASIS!!!!"

A blur flies through the hallway, careens past Stasis, screeches to a halt, then zooms back and comes to a bouncing stop next to her.

"Stasis! I've been looking ALL OVER for you!" Eric beams, extending a package. "It's a surprise! Your new cheer squad uniform!" He pauses, then giggles. "Okay, maybe not a surprise anymore, but isn't that awesome? Someone spilled coke on the old one after you left it under the bleachers (I think it was Kali but I'm sure it was an accident), so we pitched in and bought you a new one because we figured you wouldn't like the bleach stains. Open it up! Try it on!"

Eric bounces some more and thrusts the package at Stasis.

HEADS UP:

I've gotten a couple people wanting to try out for cheersquad. Since there is interest from more than one person, I'm going to start a try-outs thread again.

Hey! *blows dust off the thread* In an effort to help Franky breathe some life back into the Cheer Squad, I proposed to her that we revist the uniform and update it a little. Here's what I came up with so far. What do you guys think?



I shortened the skirt and lost the cape to better facilitate the acrobatics and stunts that cheerleaders these days do. And before the cry of "OMG! Miniskirts!" goes up, there are shorts under that skirt. Just like a real high school cheer uniform.

I would like to know when tryouts are...I am interested in knowing more.

I like the thought behind the design... I'm just not sure I like the pattern. It's a bit too much, thats just me initial reaction though. Let me poke around and research some uniform designs and I'll post what I come up with as well. I like the long sleeves, most uniforms I see recently have them.
