Saint Joseph School

Pally smirked. Nissa was so eager to eat, that she totally bypassed a shower for either of them, as well as Pally's own changing. But, it was okay. She was getting to go out for dinner with a friend, out of a very small number of friends, and that was the best part of all of this!

The two went to the eatery, and Pally detailed the fight, and how it was mainly a ranged fight, between Kearan and Amy, but that he ran everytime Pally came near. She knew the tone on her voice betrayed that she felt cheated, but, she was also thankful, because they actually got the antedote.

Nissa hearing the detail of the fight she realized that Pally and Amy both must have cared. No one has ever done what they did for her. where she comes from she was alone and scared. but now she has friends and she was very happy that Pally was one of them

As the two sat, Paula looked around and saw the place was fairly empty. It was probably between rushes, so the two wouldn't have to feel rushed or crowded. Reaching across, she smiled a little and held Nissa's hand. It was so good to know that all of that work had not been wasted. That Nissa could enjoy life again, just like anyone else.

"I was worried about joo," the latin teen said as their waiter showed up to take their order.

Nissa smiled bright as pally spoke.

"Pally thank you for all your help. I couldnt have asked for any beter of a friend in this world that you" Nissa placed her hand over pallys and rested it over hers.

Reaching up, with her other hand, Paula rested her free hand upon the elf's and smiled as her thumb absently stroked the other girl's knuckles. She never thought she would ever want to be protective for another person, until she came to the school, and her small group of friends certainly qualified, though Pally knew she wasn't as powerful as they were. It was actually more than a little humbling, and she didn't like being humbled.

However, there was just something about Nissa that kept Pally from becoming irritated too badly. She chuckled a little at the thought of some of the things they had talked about before. She wondered if the elf meant those things, and what it meant for herself. There was still so much left in life that Pally had no clue about. The silence was awkward for Palilla, but she knew it was better to be quiet, and sit there as they were.

Nissa Looked over at Pally and smile. Being Pallys friend has been the best thing in the world to Nissa. When around Pally she feels safe...no mater what nothing in the world could ever touch her so long as Pally is near or at least thats how she feels in her heart

"So. I take it Kearen is still around?" She said with a bit of a frown on but yet she held her head up high knowing they beat him ones...they can do it again!

"Well, da agreement was dat if we beat him, he would leave Paragon City, and never bother joo again, as well as give us da antedote," Palilla explained. "But he tried ta give us poinson in its place, so if he would do dat, den he is still in Paragon, somewhere. Dat is, until I find him. I won't let him tink he can get away wit what he's done. *She smiles to Nissa, with a warm and genuine smile* Not to my Duendita, an' everyone else."

Nissa frowned a bit knowing kearens around. As she saw Pally smiile at her once again she felt safe knowing pally will always be there to fight off the bad guys and be there for her

"thanks Pally for everything" she smiled back

"Aw, Duendita! It ain't notin' a friend don't already do, right," she replied and smiled. "'sides. I gotta teach joo how ta play ball, or at least have joo help me practice."

Nissa Smiled and Looked over at her friend with confusion "Paly ball?"

"Jeah! Ball," Pally said, laughing. "It's short for baseball. Maybe I can show joo sometime, jes?"

"Sounds like fun!" Nissa Giggled "Makes it all the beter if you are going to be there with me" Blushing now she kinda looked down at the table but her eyes never left Pallys face

Pally smirked a little, even though she wasn't sure exactly what was going on. Then, just as quickly as she was confused she grinned, as the food arrived. Looking to Nissa, she smiled really big, and nodded as if to say this was the good part.

Nissa's eyes quickly looked at the food and she licked her lips a little. As the food arrived she quickly grabs the first things she saw. Unbeknownst to her it was a Taco covered in Tabasco sauce. As she bit into it she slowly chewed it and started to chew slower and slower and her eyes grew wide. She quickly grabbed her drink and began to drink it. Looking up at her tongue now handing out of her mouth only two words escaped her mouth

“That’s Hot” She smiled with half her tongue handing out of her mouth

Pally couldn't help but laugh a little. She felt a little sympathy for her elven friend, so she decided to point out the less hot foods.

"Try dat one, and dese here," she said. "Dose guys are pretty safe for joo."
