Nissa came back to where Arrow was sitting, "hay Arrow, Good luck out there im sure you will do really well out there" she said. He smiled and opened his eyes to look at her. "Thank you Nissa, I'm sure we'll both do just fine...". He stood up and saw that the targets were being placed. Looking one last time at the competion he smiled to himself. This would be a test of skill not one of powers, this was his element, his power, even if he lost he would at least be more skilled at the end. That was part of the "Path of the Bow" his grandfather had passed on to him. Calmly he watched the others,one of the Korvus students bowed as their eyes met , he bowed in return. "It has begun.." he whispered to himself......

As Nissa Sat next to Arrow she watched as the targets where geting put in there places so for a last second thing she folded her legs and began to meditate trying to focus and not loose her cool. She knows this is all for fun just like where she is from but she feels that this is something that she has to do to prove herself not to the others but to herself

As the targets were finalized, Coach Hawkins, an almost bird-like, yet beautiful woman, nodded to Mao Yi. Grasping her bow from her servant's hands, she stepped forward, and awaited the signal, once the archers from her same category were at their lines and ready as well. This was clout shooting, and was pre-designated for three rounds, with six arrows per round per competitor. Victor had registered as a Master, so he was shooting last. However, since Mao Yi had never competed, to the league's knowledge, her ability to compete on the Master level depended highly upon her ability to succeed in Novice, as well as Intermediate levels.
Coach Hawkins gave Mao a look that said she disapproved, but the chinese girl simply nodded, and prepared to compete. She knew that it was unfair for to push herself like this, but she wanted to compete where she belonged, and Mao knew she could do this. After she cleared Novice, she would do Intermediate. Then she would match abilities with the dark skinned boy. It was going to be a tiring series of events, but, she could finally prove to her administration, as well as to her peers in the meta-human community, that she was an archer worth her weight in spice. From the category of Novice, there were also archers from Hollowell and Southern. She hoped to do her school honor.
