I think we were sent out a Snipe Hunt, Nox. I'm still embarassed on falling for it!

It's been great teaming it up with you too, I don't know what sorta gloom and doom kung fu you pull on the bad guys, but I know it's well appreciated when it's around, especially with the mess with your head types.

And thanks for the math help, I still don't know why the square root of X would ever come in handy for anything, but good to know I know it on the off chance it does.

*grins* Hey, don't knock Snipe, that's good eating. *laughs*

How're you doing Sam?

*smirks* Better now. I'm not such a fan of snipe, but it does taste a hell of a lot better than asphalt.

Good luck with your promo and record deal and stuff, Jase, lemme know if you need someone to "talk" to your uncooperative producers.

Hope all's good.

Looks like we'll be rooming together, so heya. Just remember, whatever you do, don't get that clumsiness anywhere near the metal techie coffin where my bed should be. :)

Joni! No worries, and just think, if you want your bed thing moved closer to/further from the window, I'm pretty sure I can handle it.

S'long as you didn't bring along a collection of priceless Ming vases or Fabriche Eggs, we're good. Lookin' forward to it.

Hi Blitzen!

Great to meet you last night! I'm super jazzed about meeting a person with real life super strength. We'll have to work on a catch phrase for you! You know, like the "The Indelible Plum" says "Plum Squish" before he throws a building at someone!

That's gonna rule!

Great meetin' you too, Grav.

As for a catch phrase, I dunno, I'm not so much for trash talk unless they've already hit the floor. I mean, there's always the off chance that they turn to stone or something and kick the snot outta me. Then I'd be lyin' on the ground having them sass me or what not, and all I can do is bleed on 'em, and be embarassed. Once they're down and I'm sure they're stayin' down and not spawning tiny little versions of themselves or whatnot, that's different.

So for now, I'll stick with "I hope this don't hurt!"

Catch you around school or the streets!

i 10 UPDATE

Post by Blitzen » Fri Sep 14, 2007 11:53 am

UPDATE (i10)

Sam's adjusted well and loves calling St. Joseph's "home." She's made some incredible friends, a few of which she'd give her life or at least a kidney for if the need arose. She and Eddie Amplitude earned their level 50 Pins during the invasion, and she's since spent a fair share of time with the Vanguard. Despite the war, she's managed to maintain a silver lining disposition about most things, and still enjoys hanging around the hot tubs and just goofing off.

Her friends are mostly happy she's learned how to pronounce the word "Mortificator".

UPDATE i 11

Jeez, so much has happened. Let's see... okay, I'm still in the Cadet Vangard Corps, only now, I'm going for my third stripe on account of I think I do pretty well in the field, as far as tanking goes, I mean, so hopefully soon all my time accrued and all that will be enough for it, and I'm still skating, only now I tried actual inline skates instead of just boarding and I haven't really hurt myself yet but then again that might be on account of I'm a tank, and I still like sitting on my tail at the park or at the hot tub but I'll run in the Warzone when stuff is going on or when it looks like they could use a hand, and my dad, he should be up for parole soon on and I have sorta mixed feelings about it, I mean it'll be good, on account of he's a good guy and all, but I get a little nervous about thinking on him being on the outside again 'specially if I'm not there to take care of him, on account of sometimes he makes goofy choices about stuff. (breathes) Ves is still one of my best friends, she and me have been through a ton together now and I'm still real happy she got sent here of all places, and Artie is an amazing guy too, me and Iowa still hang out even though he's got these dopey ideas about the Vanguard, but then again, so does my best friend from school, Bryan Baxter, who's really an awesome guy only don't tell him that on account of he's already got an ego half the size of Montana, but I wouldn't change him for the world. Me and Eddie are still going out and he's an awesome guy too and I'm really lucky I got to know him as good as I did on account of he watches out for me like nobody's business. As far as the rest of the school goes I told someone once they were like my family and they still are, on account of I see so much of 'em, and it's okay if you don't so much get along with all of your family, the fact is that they'd be there for you if you needed them, and I'd do the same for them and everyone went and proved that when the Rikti bastards were attacking a couple of months ago, and it sucks that it took something like that to show me how everyone's all stuck together and what not, but I'm real glad they are just in case anything happens. I'm a starter on the Flyers football team, a Placekicker, and I'm gonna try out for baseball again this year and maybe field hockey again depending on how I'm doing with school and all in the springtime when they start up. I really think that's about it, 'cept I got a C- in math this quarter and that's like the best I've done in math ever, so I need to go and buy a box of candy or some Cokes or something for all the people who spent their time tutoring me, as soon as I can find someone to scrub the money off of.

UPDATE: i14

As of January, Sam is now 17 and a licensed driver in Paragon, thanks to Jules' unofficial driving school. Her grades have improved some, from employing her network as friends as tutors. She's currently in a relationship with and head over heels for Anthony Kite, her longtime best friend turned boyfriend. She's distraught over his decision to go to school in UCLA, but at the same time, wants whatever is best for him.

She is still a place kicker on the Flyers football team, and this season scored her first touch down, which she credits as "the highlight of my career." She still works part time at the PBS movie theater as a ticket taker and plans to increase her hours after Tony returns to California, as well as volunteer more time at Vis Viva's history museum to pay him back for helping her pass Chemistry this semester. She's still best friends with Vesper Fiend, and the two have yet to be successful in their endeavor to get mugged. Her father remains in prison, but is due for review by the parole board this year.
