This was a stupid idea, Layla thought, watching the girls twirl about the dance floor. They were all so pretty in flowing dresses and made up faces. They were all giggles and smiles as their dates led them around the floor. Layla had arrived long before most anyone else, decked out in a pressed ...

The heat was intense as the girl ran laps around the track. Sweat soaked through her shirt and her legs were tired, but Layla couldn't be happier. She was getting settled into the school quite easily and made friends much faster than she had anticipated. So many new names and faces to remember. Owen ...

"Oh, man that NEVER gets old!" Layla laughs as she playfully puts Bobby in a headlock and musses his hair before letting go to adjust her backpack. "Yeah, I'm headed to Chemistry. I think it's that way."

She looks at Aiden as he walks up. "Again? What's this? Crazy times at the boys' quad?"

Layla notices Bobby getting his books from his locker and grins as she fades from sight. She quietly sneaks up right behind him, trying her best not to laugh at how perfect this is.

As soon as she right behind him, she fades back into sight and shouts, "Hiya, Bobby!"
