The Undeniable Past... Part 1


Setting: As Rin. Hedgehog and Ms. Mental chat under the yellow line in Atlas Park, several psychic messages are sent to the young red headed girl from Azuria letting her know dinner is ready.

As Ms. Mental (aka Dana) is aware that Azuria has mystical abilites currently beyond her own, she feels finally obliged to head to dinner rather than risk another argument....

After a silent dinner, Dana runs to the door to meet back up with her friends under the Yellow Line Station... Azuria psychically slams the door and explains that she is in for the night. At first Dana was ready to go off the deep end, but decided than to rather pull the "You're Not My Mother" routine, she decided to bide her time until Azuria let her guard down.

After about 30 minutes, Azuria leaned back in her char reading the Paragon times, and suddenly fell alseep. Dana stands there over her and grins. Upon leaving she is met at the door by a very tall and intimidating woman. Not sure what to do, she confuses the woman and slips by her as the woman scurries to Azuria who seems to be passed out.

Dana fled.

The Amazonian type woman searched for hours.

Eventualls the Amazon found her as they leap from rooftop to rooftop of Atlas Park.

Yelling....
<<Ms. Mental>> Get away!!!

<<Amazon>> Give Up Now, I will catch you. Azuria wants you returned Immediately!!

<<Ms. Mental>> No, get away, she is NOT my mother....

<<Amazon>> Stop Running!

- - - suddenly, the amazonian seems for a split second just able to grab the jacket of Dana, and hold her at bay......


AMAZON PRINCESS vs. MS. MENTAL


Setting: Atlas Park, top of the Blimp


Dana turns around and stairs up into the eyes of the massive woman....

<<Ms. Mental>> Let go of me NOW!
<<Amazon>> Grins, listen, you need to come back with me...

The amazons defenses are up as though she can almost sense that this little girl has spunk and will probably fight.

<<Ms. Mental>> I'll give you one more warning, leave me alone.
<<Amazon>> I can't do that. I am princess of the Amazons. I don't think you want to ....

Ms. Mental without even giving Amazon enough time to finish her sentence sucks the energy right from Amazon's body, leaving her week and down on 1 knee...

<<Ms. Mental>> You don't know who I am, you don't know what I can do. If you value your existance, you will leave me be.

Lights start to circulate around the amazon, as though she has charged herself to max power.


<<Amazon>> Girl, come with me now, or I will force you.

Ms. Mental launches a series of mental blasts ripping away at the psyche of the large woman, knock her back a few steps... Mental stands there astounded that the large woman is still standing.... and jumps down to the street below followed by the Amazon...

They enter a highly populated area filled of hundreds of civilians not to mention over a dozen other super powered beings....

Ms. Mental grins at the Amazon, and unleashes a huge pyschic aura around her self which seems to touch the minds of every being around her.

The amazon is unsure at this point and decides to rush the girl.

<<Amazon>> There are innocents here girl, you must stop!!

Ms. mental look at the Amazon with eyes filled with Psychic Energy as the Amazon Stops in her tracks. Not knowing what to expect and prepares for the worst....

Suddenly about a hundred civilians runs toward Mental and stands inbetween her and the Amazon who looks at the young girl in aw of the psychic abilites.

Mental point at Amazon as 13 Flying heroes swoop down and blast away at the Amazon.

<< Amazon >> Stop this NOW!

Amazon falls to one knee from the onslught of the incoming blasts of fellow heroes....

Meanwhile, Dana watches on as the Amazonian is weakened to the point of unconsciousness.. she calls off the raid on the Amazon, and walks towards her look down at the amazon kneeling on one foot.


--Eyes still glowing with Pysche Energy--

<<Ms. Mental>> Do not follow me.. I warn you...

<< Amazon >> I have ...to....bring......you.......back.....

<<Ms Mental>> So be it....

Amazon Princess look at the young red headed girl who seems to be ready to rip into the mind of the fallen tank like woman... but suddenly stops...

<<Mental>> -confused- What? What is going on? What's happening?

Amazon Princess looks at the girl..

<<Amazon>> honey.. are you ok...

<<Ms.Mental>> What.... What happened?

suddenly mentals eyes fill with white pyschic energy as she holds out her hand and touched the Amazon....

The amazon is restored to full health and energy as though she was head in a medical unit at the hospital.


<<Amazon>> thank you.

<<Ms Mental>> I'm so sorry - crying-

<<Amazon>> Lets get you back to Azuria.. she can help.

Ms. Mental Nods, holding back her tears as Amazon picks her up and leaps to Azuria's office inside City Hall.

Part 2

As the amazon carried the confused and upset girl into Azuria's office, a look of concern was noticed.

<<Mental>> Azuria, what's wrong wth me?

<<Azuria>> Honey, I think there may be a problem with one of the psychic blocks.. let me check

Azuria probes Dana's mind, looking for even the slightest weekness in any of the numberous barriers she so carefully placed to protect the girl from her past.

She stumbles across a barrier that seems to be cracking, and quickly attempts to repair the damaged block, but before she does looks inside and tries to see what actual memory was causing the emotional turmoil within the girl.

<<Agony Mage>> My Daughter.......please.....don't...... I...lov.......

Azuria cringes at the thought of the memory, and restores the wall covering this wicked memory, and places a recovery spell over the Dana, allowing her to rest and not think about anything but feeling better..

As Dana sleeps peacefully... the two veteran heroes walk around the corner...

<<Azuria>> Thank you AmazonPrincess. I don't know what we would have done if the barrier fully collapsed.

<<AmazonPrincess>> I'll tell you Azuria.. that girl had me worried. She was easily able to control everyone around her without even breaking a sweat.... I used all my stregth to stay conscious, but what's up with her?

<<Azuria>> Well.. the short story version is that her mother was involved with a very evil Circle of Thorn Agony Mage... her mother eventually abandoned them both when she was just a toddler, and left her alone with the Thorns.. not the best choice for a mother to do.. She'd be better off with the Ritki, but basically.. When she was about 7 she stumbled across a book, a very powerful Mystical Book and read most of it which granted her powers that could rival if not outclass that of some of the most gifted telepaths in Paragon City.

<<Amazon>> oh....

<<Azuria>> it didn't work out too well for her however.. as far as I could tell.. after the Thorns learned of this.. .they imprisoned her in a mystical cell for about 5 years which she could not escape by magical means until one day a group of heroes raided that particular base and found her..starving, sick, and in a bad state all together....

<<Amazon>> oh my....

<<Azuria>> -nods- but... when the heroes released her and their empath was healing her broken body... her mind was still in a bad shape... in a very dark place... "You can't do that to anyone, let alone a child without having the suffer some sever trauma.", so as the empath was finishing her healing... the other heroes were dragging in the Agony Mage, on the ground.... getting ready to take him to prison... well.... she just snapped when she saw this....

<<Amazon>> oh no...

<<Azuria>> Yes... it wasn't a good thing.. She swung her hands at the heroes and they went flying into the rocky walls of the cave.. severly injuring some of them.. which actually started a cave in... from what the heroes tell me... she walked over to her father she held out her hand and he began to hover .. and what seemed to be like unwillingly.. as she broke his mind right there.. ending his life as he knew it. Something most telepaths can't do without losing part of their humanity...

<<Amazon>> I can't believe at 12 she did that... how come she isn't institutionalized?

<<Azuria>> Well... the heroes we able to incapaciate her.. they had a fellow telepath there which was luckily able to get her to calm down just long enough to get her here to me. I placed several psychic blocks, masking some of her more... violent memories.. however one started to crumble... you were about to experience what her father did.. Thankfully she realized what she was doing... I have repaired the wall, but I now know I will have to keep mainting them every few months and her minds seems to be fighting them. I am going to try to find a more permanent means to block them...

<<AmazonPrincess>> I don't know if you can help this girl Azuria. It seems to me that she is a loaded gun... but if you think you can do something about her.. then by all means.. but just be careful

<<Azuria>> I am taking every precaution. But.. .I had a favor to ask.. The Head of the Technology Department was telling that there is a group of psychic clockwork causing trouble. You'll need to take Portal 3 at Portal Corp to get there, but take some of your fellow amazons with you. I am sensing a huge psychic presence there. Be careful

<<Amazon>> Sure thing.. and remember.. be careful with that girl. I hate to see anything happen to you.

<<Azuria>> Sure thing AmazonPrincess. Thanks.

Azuria walks in the office to check in on Dana who lays their sleeping although talking very coherent to herself....

<<Dana>> mom? is that you.... where have you been? really? Kings Row?

Azuria look into the psyche of the young girl, and notices a dark figure with a white mask, glowing red eyes and a multi colored outfit stand there staring at Azuria and a violent pyschic wave.. ejected Azuria from Dana's Mind....

<<Azuria>> OH NO.... .... Wake up Dana.. WAKE UP... WAKE UP NOW!!!

Dana wakes up.....

<<Mental>> Azuria? what's going on??
