Madam Lasinfore, the Lunch Lady

Impressionable minds need a good meal. Madam Agatha Lasinfore is a former functionary in MAGI that found her alchemical and potion brewing skills fading into the background of the high-end operations of the arcane agency. So, after a long bout of job dissatisfaction, she decided to take up the next job she could find where her skills would be put to good use. That job was as the school cook for Saint Joseph School.

Despite her seemingly humble role as a lunch lady, Madam Lasinfore has found great joy in preparing dishes for the students and staff, fortifying them for the challenges ahead and keeping in mind each of her charges' dietary needs. She is indeed an excellent cook, and there are few complaints about the meals that are served, with the possible exception of the garden salad, which has caused trouble from time to time.

Madam Lasinfore presents a strange persona, and great debates have raged among the students as to whether it is purposeful. She appears to be in her mid to late thirties, though she claims to be much older. She has reddish-brown hair pinned up under a traditional bonnet, and sometimes wears rectangular glasses. She is usually wearing a full Victorian dress with corset, and her clicking of boots is heard only moments before the smell of her next meal is served. Her speech is very proper and she has been known to gently correct the grammar of students in her lunchroom. When not cooking for the students, she is often found in the library or greenhouse, working on any number of esoteric projects. It is rumored that she is still an active member of the Midnighter Club.

For those students who manage to connect with her, she always seems to have a fresh pot of tea ready for when they need to get advice from someone that doesn't have the job of keeping them on the straight and narrow.

Ok.... looks good, but aren't lunch ladies usually older than that?

If this were a humdrum school for prep students, sure. But, this is St. Joes; we have a magical pyrokinetic nun and a scientific braintrust. The school cook also deserves to be cool.
