I'm posting this to put down rumors that I've been hearing about a ghost at school.

First off to what i know there are no ghosts at St. Joe's. Any strange happenings or ghost sitings are most likely of MY dear friend. Sam, Sam has a few problems controlling his powers so he cannot turn off his Grade A: level invisibility and can only talk by one way thought impression, so he can put his words into your head but he can't read your thoughts so if you want to talk to him you have to speak aloud so he can hear you.

He a good guy if you get to know him, And i hope you will all get a chance to do so.

I'm glad to see people realize Sam is a real person.

I'll tell you, plenty of times people thought I was crazy when I was talking to him between classes.

...and people are always really impressed with his ability to snap "candids" for the yearbook... that guy really knows investigative journalism! ;P

Yeah... luckily I can bounce ultra-low-frequency waves off of him so I always know when he's around... or at least, I know when it's safe to change into my gym clothes.

Now, Jasmine, on the other hand, is generally clueless about such things

I'm telling you, yearbook is awesome at SJS if you're a perv or a blackmailer. ;P

A bit more on Sam.

Sam was born transparent. He was fully invisible all the time by the time he was 18 months. That was rough. I don't think many of us can imagine what it'd be like to have never been seen. If not for his other abilities, he might literally have starved to death, or been lost, or any other of a thousand things that could go wrong. Especially considering by the time he was four, any object that stayed in close contact with him would become hazy after a few minutes, and eventually vanish as well.

Sam is also telepathic. In fact, he cannot speak with his mouth or vocal chords, and has never been able to, even as an infant. So he communicates by intruding into the mind of someone (or sometimes, if he is well-rested, a group of someones). Several students know him very well, and can even "see" him (as mentioned above, Mimi bounces sonic pings off of him to tell where he is).

I was asked to elaborate on this a little. No problem.

Basically, Sam does not have to walk around naked to stay invisible. Though he has no direct control over it, items that stay in prolonged contact with Sam will grow transparent and vanish. He can stop this from happening by wearing gloves, since then the object will not vanish by touching something he is touching (this is also why if he sits in a chair, no matter for how long, the chair doesn't vanish).

If you held hands with Sam long enough, your hand and arm about midway to the elbow might vanish after a bit. Sam cannot make another person entirely invisible without prolonged full body contact.

As soon as Sam lets go, objects affected in this way return to normal in just a few seconds.
