Hey, I am totally skipping out on Madam Lasinfore's sloppy joe Tuesday and running across the street to City Of Gyros.
Anyone care to join?
(I lifted this out of one of Kris' posts... 'City Of Gyros' is too perfect, and made me giggle for like 5 minutes. So, yeah, I want it part of the canon.)

Can I come along, Mimi? I know we don't really know each other, but I'm a fool for Greek and Mediterranean food! My mom doesn't eat there, so anytime I can go, is a special thing for me.

I'll have you know Mimi, that Quad 5 is the most happenin' quad in the school!!! So you all can feel free to swing by! We just gotta be quiet when Kris is studying, which is ALOT!!

Please note the sign on the door though... the one that reads "DRAMA FREE ZONE" Just check your negativity at the door and pick it up when ya leave!!!

I'll come, if I can... Sister Mary Olivia still has me doing yard work to compensate for what I accidentally did to the soccer field.

How can you eat there, cher Mimi? Those grease balls of chefs saturate their products with so much oil and fat. Not to mention, their greens are always wilted and that place smells downright funny.
*sigh* Sometimes I just don't understand American cuisine.

It does require a proper palate to really understand it. I really like it, reminds me of all the bbq's that my grandfather ran for me and the rest of the family.
I love that kind of food. It's not supposed to be good for you, i kinda think that's the point. It does attract quite and interesting set of people. I do like the style and the menu. I think i'll head back over there after i get out of the hospital.
Meet you guys there.

Well, you haven't offered to cook for me since that first week you arrived... man, that stuff was good! But I admit I don't remember what it was.
Novembre, let's have a pot-luck! I could make my granmother's kimchee and everyone else could make whatever they know how to make...
...except Annie. Annie has to follow stricter rules.

I will only go for kimchee if Mimi is certain to cook it far from campus...or in the school garage....mmkay.
