Forum Upgrade

Post by Mimi » Thu Dec 13, 2007 11:33 pm

phpBB3 has been released.

I am going to be taking the forums down for approximately 24 hours on either Saturday or Sunday-- this will depend largely on when I have four to six hours to reconfigure everything in phpBB3.

When the forums come back up, they will have a new look (until we make or find a new skin), as well as many new features.

Thanks!

I suppose I should prepare for withdrawal symptoms. Oh, darn it. Where ever did I put my copy of Trainspotting?

I'm a veteran of forum withdrawls. I locked myself out of the board once.

(Deep breath)

It'll be okay. It'll all be okay....

The solution is simple... play CoH nonstop during the drought. Problem solved!

That's probably the "safest" way!

Though another method is *gasp* going outside? Getting a hobby? Hey, did you feed your cat today?

There's ice. And slush. And more ice. Sam's a tank. I'm SO not a tank. A big chunk of ice falls off a building I'm walking by? I become one of those "In a bizarre freak accident" stories on the news.

*nods*

Bring. On. Spring.

Okay. Things are coming along okay.

I started reorganizing everything. Suggestions or comments are welcome.

phpbb3 so far has no "approved" (which is to say, functional) styles yet. Notebored, which was our style, is in development.

Bug? The Student Handbook says "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum." However, I can see posts in its parent forum and subforum.
